I know nothing about Cucurin except that I don't like his face.

And I honestly don't feel like blind browsing him and spending that much time.

Anything notable from him to check out? Just to quickly gather all the impressions that I need?

Trust me, they are pushing him already. He is getting a hybrid tiktok/radio show on HR. :D
If he shows up with great song, great.
But tbh I just can't see how it could work. From what I heard, he doesn't seem great vocalist to me, so power ballad is out of the window and some upbeat song... also can't see him pulling off dancing and sounding good live at the same time.

Yesterday on Croatian Voice, a 19 yrs old adapts old song by Bijelo Dugme making it far better than the original. And he's done it better than any Croatian "star" or young talents propelled by discographers would have ever done it. Also an exceptional singer. He's got an idea, he's got talent, he's not bland. I'd send him on Eurovision stage right away.

If Marko Bosnjak could cook up something good, he would be something good to choose if he does take part on Dora

About 200 songs have been submitted for Dora 2024. Next week, HRT's expert jury will select 24 songs (+4 reserve) that will compete in Dora 2024.

Croatia almost started World War III last year. Proud Serbian loved it.

Dora preparing big show to demonstrate muscle and guns to strike for gold again.

Not before Serbia however.

Nuclear missiles are the same as guns but bigger. Serbian delegation is prepared to make even bigger ones, they are aware LET3 are making their second try. The fight for the ESC thropy will be intense.
Brothers, I expect nothing less of you, let's bring all this turd down 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Now serious stuff haha on Dora 2024.

Dora 2024 will have 2 semifinals, 12 songs each.

I already love this as it will give more influence to the audience to decide on last 12 that will compete for the win.

Plus more buzz will be created around Dora, and the event will be bigger in all aspects. Thus far it fitted into a format of one episode of the Voice, not a music festival.

Also I'm a bit thrilled about the suffering Deban from WiWis will have to endure while reviewing not 12, but 24 Dora entries. 😆

Also, rumour has it that this year, thanks to Let 3's decision to compete with the kids 🤣, more recognizable and awarded Croatian artists have also decided to submit entries, such as Pavel and Vatra, both bands Porin laureates. Pavel also has absolutely amazing female vocalist, so she could be a jury bait.

Detour last year was also mah, but they ended up being one of best acts of the night.
Which, tbh wasn't very hard to achieve, but still

I agree. They looked expensive, eventhough the song wasn't exciting or appealing at all. I think that experience and having one's own song and vision of it eventually outshines the beginners with generic second hand pop production, so I'm still glad of having Vatra or Pavel, if they get selected.

P.S. Vatra say their entry is nothing like their usual style, if that brings any comfort to you 😂

Is it gonna be pro Palestine this time

I don't think so, this one will be about ESC, I'm positive their wettest dream is to perform at the contest they would troll publicly 😆

Btw international fans on their Zagreb concert this September, some from Japan dear God haha, and we have a forum member here as well, but it ain't me https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cw0EgTCMpho/?igshid=ZWI2YzEzYmMxYg==

I plan to go see them on New Year's Eve when they perform on Zagreb central square, I can't wait to see 200 000 at one place screaming ŠČ! 😁

Not too keen about any artist who represents his/her/their country twice in a row. (With the exception of 2021, you know COVID and everything). And I'm saying this as an Austrian #udojürgens. Besides I'm craving a good solid balkan ballad, a genre that was criminally underrepresented in recent years.
