Not sure why you've taken this so personally, the individual country threads are for all views I thought, both positive and negative. Not everyone likes the same songs. I think my own country's song is shit this year and doesn't deserve to qualify.

Yeah, I think the same, but I didn't write that there. I said the song was too U2 alike.

Why? Out of minimum respect for other people here who are Irish or who enjoy this song.

For a contest where people preach for respect there are too many people who are just vile AF.

Also can you explain to me what on Earth does anybody have or take from going around the forum writing they pray somebody wouldn't qualify?

Can you imagine a level of person who doesn't like the song, has already written that 100 times, and then feels an urge to come back every now and then again to a thread of an entry he doesn't even listen to nor is interested in to write shite about it?

How many times did I come to Irish thread after my initial review? Zero!

What that character can be but somebody who enjoys spilling tea and hate for self-gratification?

And I'm really tired of personally motivated hatred against this entry.

If this is how this community functions, then fine by me.

From now on I'm gonna openly write on other countries' threads how shitty I find their artists.

I'll also personally adress the intelligence of some forum members and their taste or the lack thereof. E.g., whoever thinks this entry is a joke, gives a reflection of his IQ, not a review.

Just to make it clear, I'm no fanwanker here who gets insulted over every negative comment.

I don't think this is the best song on ESC. I even don't think it's a sure qualifier.

It's just when somebody comes to write 193rd time "this is a joke" there is actually no response to that after 134 pages of thorough explanations of every word of this song, after 4 reputable ESC channels made a video explaining every single word and details of staging, but conclude that this person is either vile, frustrated or unintelligent. There's no other explanation to it.

When people say stuff like I don't like it because it's messy, too chaotic, I think musically it could have been better composed, I don't get all encrypted messages, language is a barrier to me to understand, these are totally legit reviews you can respond to with normal explanation or disagreement.

But after comments as "A joke" and "I hope it's a NQ" there's really no discussion. It's just somebody's outburst of frustration, not an opinion, nor a review.

I really don’t like the song (or the performance) - I think EBU should definitely tell them to tone it down a bit, but some of the tweets I've seen are reaching. Using words like 'pedos' and 'disgusting pigs' is totally unnecessary and completely disrespectful.

I don’t dislike the song but I do think people in the Balkans need to realise that to people unfamiliar with let 3 or with an understanding of Croatian this will come across as a joke entry that doesn’t make people that perceive it that way uneducated, casual viewers of Eurovision do not research what they have just seen the vast majority will never hear most of these songs ever again

This song is a masterpiece. You may not like it but all the insults they're are receiving (pedos, old pigs, rapists, and a looong etc.) ARE NOT JUSTIFIED. And it makes us as fan get tired of many people.

I myself have been called UGLY, FAT, PIG, S*X-NEEDED and a lot of really rude insults just because of making convers in Spanish of their songs to spread their music and uploading pictures with ŠČ! stuff as shirts. And I'm just a girl from Spain supporting my favourite artists this year. Is this society so stupid and insane as it looks like?

And here in forums there are maybe no insults, but watching people come back for the twenty fourth time to say exactly the same (joke, hope they don't qualify, this is horrible, etc, etc, etc.) is such a contradiction. If you don't like it, don't be back here to puke hate, go to the threads you like and be happy.

I am going to be completely neutral here and say I am thoroughly entertained with this clawing at each other throats and bickering back and forth between both sides.

Can't remember the last time the Croatian thread was this fun.

And I absolutely agree with you. For some first time watchers this might be confusing, for the rest it won't be.

But people from the community are not first time watchers. They saw so many reviews and so many explanations of this in past 3 months that they could have understood what is this about. It doesn't mean they ought to like it, but these artists who have done more than 90% of other competitors this year to send a beautiful and meaningful message while smartly circumventing EBU's rule do deserve at least minimum respect of refraining from trolling such as "a joke" and "hope they don't qualify".

Community just wanna insult this because had they went to Swedish or Finnish thread to insult that corn and the other unicorn, they would have been burried by fanwankers. So they feel free to do it here.

Well, times are a-changing. Supporters of Croatia don't take **itting all over them anymore. 🤣

You should expect that this entry will cause some ''hate'' because it's on the nature of such entries to be polarizing. Disgusting comments shouldn't exist obviously, but sadly they exist especially on twitter and not only for this one but also for other entries. Some people simply don't know how to deal with stuff they don't like.

Myself i don't hate the entry and i didn't rate it with 0, i get what it is about but i still think they should stay in the semi.

so, Finland has no chance of wining nor qualify to the final cos nobody understand finish. bummer.

also, those who call Let 3 old and all the other stuff are just affraid cos they see thier future. They are affraid of getting old themself.
