Tried to fix the broken pieces, now I'm leaving
But you made it loud and clear I’m not enough
Tried to fool me more than once to keep me dreaming
'Cause you knew the truth would tear us apart

If you pull me down then I'll come around
And rise up to come show you who I am
I feel fire inside, my heart’s desire
I'm breaking free from you

Tick-tock, watch the days go
I'm losing track of time
Lost in your playzone
Don't overcomplicate
Now we're in warzone
You're screaming, "Oh no, oh no, oh no"

Tick-tock, I'll take you dancing
In time wе might break
You think you're fancy
I play those gamеs my way and you’ll be beggin’
"Please baby, don't go, don’t go, don't go"

I hear those voices from far away
They help me to escape (Escape)
I found myself and I'm finally free from
Your bad love in every strength

Tick-tock, watch the days go
I'm losing track of time
Lost in your playzone
Don’t overcomplicate
Now we're in warzone
You're screaming, "Oh no, oh no, oh no"

Dancin', dancin'
Think you, think you fancy
Tick-tock
Don't go, don't go, don't go

I hear those voices from far away
They help me to escape (Escape)
I found myself and I'm finally free from
Your bad love in every strength

Tick-tock, vrijeme curi, gdje si više
Usne grizem, sama jedva dišem
Tick-tock vrijeme juri ne mogu više
Oh no, oh no

Tick-tock, I'll take you dancing
In time we might break
You think you're fancy
I play those games my way and you'll be beggin'
"Please baby, don't go, don't go, don't go"

Dancin', dancin'
Think you, think you fancy
Tick-tock
Don't go, don't go, don't go

Y

Yes, I know! She was a big deal in Bosnia as well. Also, she is the author of Bosnian entry from 2004. - In the Disco. xdance2xcheer
Do you know that Maja Tatic is also from Brcko, and represented BIH the same year as Vesna Pisarovic did for Croatia? :)

Has anyone already mentioned that this guy is a cowriter of the song?

I'm not sure, but here's more fun facts:

Max's mum is from Karlovac, Croatia. He acquired Croatian citizenship in January this year (he doesn't speak Croatian, unfortunately). Branimir Mihaljević's son and Max are both studying at Abbey Road Institute, that's how Branimir and Max met and started working together. ^^

Sorry :hr:, there's nothing I like about this style of (bop?) music. :( I try to avoid giving 0s to entries if I can help it, so I gave it a 1 because at least she's in tune (even if I don't like her voice).

@randajad

Maybe she lives there, but she's from Brčko.. Her patents are from one Village between Brčko and Bijeljina.. :)

Albina said that they weren't sure in the beginning about putting that Croatian part in the song, they were afraid that it would make the song kitsch. However, when they tried it and listened to it, they realised it gives the song a special moment and they loved it. She also noted that they noticed that both local and foreign audience absolutely loved this Croatian part so that she'd be crazy not to include it in her ESC performance, the Croatian part is staying!!!! She also thinks that the English + Croatian version is the ideal combination.

This song is slowly growing on me. I have it stuck in my head constantly and that's really good. I'm afraid that all of the 2020 NQ in the first semi are all very promising. There'll be a bloodbath I predict.

Good song, bad performer. She can’t move or sing properly, sorry. I don’t feel any vibes I usually do when I‘m listening to these kinds of songs.
Quite an uneducated comment. You should look up her other performances to see how absurd that statement is.

Albina and their team pretty much just need to polish up the performance and fine-tune her vocals and she is pretty much ESC ready.
She is rather shaky at the parts when she need to do the big notes and she sounds strained.

On a side note, "Colors" is like basically on repeat for me. Such a missed opportunity to be honest. Such a strong song.
It's currently the second most watched performance from this year's NF on the official HRD Dora channel. Really good for a song that ends up at no. 7 in the competition. Seems like she is gaining traction for the song. Good for Bernarda!

That part, little bit before the refrain, reminds me on 'Chameleon' Malta 2019.
And also, she helped writing Lyircs for "All Of My Life" from Destiny, also from Malta.

Looking at her competitors in the semi, her nearest competition in similar style of music/genre should be Eden from Israel and likely Destiny from Malta, Elena from Cyprus and Efendi from Azerbaijan (assuming all 3 of them go for uptempos) with all 5 of them in the same second-half (I hope they space them out, if not they will come close to cancelling each other). I am pretty sure Eden and Destiny will eat Albina alive in terms of the vocal aspects.

Now imagine if Norway send Raylee and Roxen's song is an up-tempo. The second half of the first semi is going to be a female-lead uptempo fest throwing in Ukraine in the mix.

Maybe some of them will kill their chances with horrible outfits, but looking at the past it’s most likely going to be Croatia doing that before anyone else 🔥

I think that ethno and other entries with smaller audience cancel each other because they're targeting basically the same, small(er) audience. I believe that the audience for (upbeat) pop is huge and diverse enough for everyone to get a lot of points. I can't really recall a time when pop songs cancelled each other, are there some examples?

Nina and Jacques are not in the equation this time, and Albina expressed her dislike of kitsch, fortunately. She had nice outfits in the Voice and the Dora outfit seemed promising. I think we're in safe hands this time. :D
