Why would scandals and drama stop? If it wasn't sad, this would be some real fun.
I have no idea who started this as it's not stated in the article. Apparently, Nina's Lighthouse was accused of being a plagiarism of Zara Larsson's Uncover. I'm so sad for this young and talented singer who is being bashed on each corner. Envy and jealousy seems to be too high for some to bear with it.
Not only that it's a huge nonsense as those 2 songs have as much in common as Zimbabwe and Finland, but it would've been better that I've never read this as I can't stand such mainstream music as "Uncover". And yet "Lighthouse" is my favorite this year.

I have no idea who started this as it's not stated in the article. Apparently, Nina's Lighthouse was accused of being a plagiarism of Zara Larsson's Uncover. I'm a Zara fan and didn't notice the "similarities" until now, no one did actually until this guy wrote that Lighthouse reminds him of that song. And he didn't actually say anything wrong it's the media that blows things out of proportion...
Nina just can't win... if Cascada's song wasn't a rip-off then this won't be too but everyone will talk about it now...

What I find hilarious that if I started searching I could find much more similar songs to Lighthouse. I just can't see anything similar between those two songs. Tempo, melody, voice, atmosphere, lyrics, everything is different. Maybe it's just my impression because as I said, I can't stand music such as Uncover, but the comments I've read are mostly the same. It's just stupid.
As someone here said, this surely won't do any good to the entry and its result.
I often think about particular conspiracy theories in Croatia and sometimes I say myself that they can hardly be true. But I've learnt during the years that nothing can surprise me anymore. I wouldn't be surprised at all if it was all done by purpose in a way that a particular news website makes a scandal of this and gets paid for that.
As someone here said, this surely won't do any good to the entry and its result.

OMG they are comparing Nina's song to so many of them that I stopped counting. And now this? Some people obviously don't understand what plagiarism is. Some of our and regional artists made a career on plagiarisms and no one is talking about that and I don't remember any scandal going around those cases, ever. Now, I can't help but think this is partially fault of Nina's promotion. What I think is a rule - if you don't talk about your song and don't promote it the way you want - others will "promote" it the way they want - if the song is worth talking about. So I hope the official video is coming out very very soon so that occupies everyone's attention, because I'm sick of reading articles like this one.
It is kinda her an her team's fault because they just released the song and did a few radio interviews now and then, people want something to talk about and obviously Lighthouse being a good enough song for a possible top 10 placement isn't enough...
But I'm glad that she was in Belgrade she did a lot of interviews and they can vote for her, we can't.
She should be on today's evening new and talk about all this mess just to clear things up. Just so people see and hear her.

Exactly! They could have done things much better. Her Facebook page was "silent" from March 22 until an hour ago when she wrote that she was in Belgrade. Now, that's more than a week with no news. Her twitter account - silent from March 19 until an hour ago. She doesn't have to have anything new, but she could post now and then about how things are progressing. I think that can be done well without revealing too much. For example - that info that she's working on a dress that is being designed by our famous designer or something like that. Just something, anything that we could read and look forward to the finished product.
She needs a facebook team that posts all of this stuff... It's mostly her writing her stuff, and I appreciate that but for God's sake hire someone to post new interviews and Lighthouse's youtube link now and then on your...

I realized that my tweet congratulating her on her first 1.000.000 YT views is 1 day older than hers. I tweeted on March 14, 7 pm. She retweeted the Universal Music's tweet created on March 15, 3 pm. So even their tweet was a little bit late. Ok, maybe I noticed just because I listen to that song almost all day long, but still... There are moments when I feel that I would be doing her more posts and promotion materials than she does for herself. And I actually want to, I'm just not sure that she'd like someone being faster posting news than her and hear team...again
