So now that the pairings have been decided, it's time to pick the songs. The artist should be from that country or have a very strong link to it. The deadline for submitting an entry is Friday June 17th 23:00 CET Here is a list of the pairings:

I might participate Need to be sure I'm free at the right times... which I probably won't be ;_;

Anyway, I just thought of something; perhaps we should say it's the suggesters responsibility to provide assistance with their suggested country, if it turns out to be difficult for the person who gets allocated to it? In a way of saying "Yes, you can and should suggest exotic places, but only if you yourself would be able to manage it as well"

It would be a kinda evil tactic for people to pick impossible countries that even they know nothing about, after all

I think in general, when it gets to the song-choosing stage, we should also all be open to helping each other out as much as possible

Hmm Dalisska will confirm later. Not sure which country to pick.

Picking Ireland would be the obvious choice.....but some people seem a bit mean with Kiribati and Lesotho. If I get one of them I've no clue what I'll do. :shock: Maybe they do have large music industries...honestly I don't know much about the countries themselves let alone the music.

Although in another way I hope I get a country that takes me out of my comfort zone. It'll be a bit disappointing to get the UK or USA.

That's what making me wary of being creative....I could pick a random country on the map but then I'd have to actually help them pick a song.

So I'm a bit of a pickle...

Be completely boring and pick an obvious country and then be able to help the person pick a song.

OR

Be completely wild and just pick some random country for fun and then shudder in horror when I receive the dreaded PM asking for help.

So I'm a bit of a pickle...

What are we supposed to send? A penguin?
