The number of songs is irrelevant, 10 songs here and there doesn't increase the time needed significantly. Why the deadline should be longer is because:
a) It's Eurovision week.
2) There's more to Congratulations results than scoreboards, and that "more" also needs its creation time.
III) It's Congratulations, it's a special occasion, it's a happy time, the experience should be given its time to flourish.
Anyway, the traditional Lurkovision recap to be available sometime for or during the weekend.

I seem to agree that 10 doesn't make that big of a dofference when we're talking baout 31 & 41 and not 7 & 17.

I completely disagree about the number of songs being irrelevant. But you raise plenty of good points, i'd completely forgotten about it being Eurovision week
Aaaand i'd also entirely forgotten about the special extras; Absolutely Everybody has dwarfed this spinoff for me 
So i agree, 2 weeks it should be.

It says provisional for a reason folks I'm fully expecting some latevoters, and I'm fully prepared to extend the deadline as needed.
However, I've always been against extending prematurely, as it gives people the wrong idea. People who might have easily voted "on time" won't because of the extension. It's the same with any spinoff; you shouldn't officially extend until the first deadline has passed imo
But, please don't wreck your life to desperately vote "on time" for this spinoff All other time-taking factors are being borne in mind, and of all the hosts, I'm prepared to be as lenient as needed And feel free to PM me any concerns about how long you need to vote (or recap-make) anyway, as with most other spinoffs, we're prepared to be flexible here

Yes, a deadline extension would help for me too, i was going to do most of my listening this weekend, but it seems i'm going to be quite busy now. I'll still try to vote in time though
