The Head of Chinese Delegation confirmed the rumors about discussions with EBU.
She is really adorable, listen to her ;)

Oh please just no - it's the end of Eurovision. It lasted 60 years at least.

Re: CHINA 2016

They had a justification to bring Australia in, they have been broadcasting it for 30 years and it's very popular there. But China is just getting started, it makes no sense. I don't think it would even be that popular there.

Plus with all the censorship I really don't know how ESC can work for China.

It would be great to have them. If possible Japan should join in 2017 as well.

But China have 1.500.000 billion of people living ;) So, you are sure that won't be popular here?

Yeah the 1.5 billion people would all automatically tune in to watch it wouldn't they?

Re: CHINA 2016

EBU better makes an effort on bringing European countries back, instead of looking for something crazy. I was fine with Australia because they were broadcasting the contest for 30 years, besides the people are interesed in. China? What has it to do with Eurovision, anyways?
