Bulgaria were REALLY screwed by the jury this year!! X-OIT() I'm glad their still participating and not withdrawing even though I wouldn't blame them.

Here's hoping they can rebound and have their own "Kaliopi Moment" in 2014

But there is no such statement by the broadcaster, yet (except the declaration of the General director this summer, but it was behind the Counicl of Electronic media). Which is quite strange, but obviously we'll take part.

I liked both of those songs, the problem with the Sofi entry was... well Sofi...

In my opinion, Sofi extracted the maximum of the song potential. She really delivered it well no matter that she was alone on the big stage.

Yeah in all seriousness, Sofi really was epic. To think she owned the stage and song with absolutely no one backing her. No singers, no dancers yet it was all so powerful. No matter what people think of the song itself, I think it still very much deserved a place in the final. Watching it again now, it's incredible. My friend who isn't a hardcore fan of Eurovision absolutely adored her as well and she still gets brought up in conversation today. Not many could pull off what Sofi did. Most singers of dance music need a couple of backup singers to swallow their poor vocals and some crazy stage show around them. Sofi didn't. It's a real shame she didn't make the final.

I do agree with you RainyWoods, and she obviously deserved to qualify, but I personally am one of those who wants my dancy numbers with a little more added to them to spice things up

Anyways, Bulgaria 2012-2013 are just pure examples of the narrow-mindnesses of the juries working full-time against the local.
