It's basically the song that Macedonia sent in 2013, just replace Esma with the rapper from the Macedonia 2010 song. We've seen how both of those failed big time in the televote. This entry will show how much the song matters in the end...

They are similar in a sense they both use ethnic elements plus it's a ballad. And that's all.

Obviously, both songs are not masterpieces, but the atmosphere in one song compared to another one is very different.

Macedonia failed in 2013 firstly because their stage presentation was terrible as it is often case with Macedonia, although the songs are often ok.

Bosnia on the other hand tends to do very well on the stage with ok or nothing special songs. This can be the case this year, too.

So they took a song that was an epic hot wreck and made it more epic, hotter, and more of a wreck.

I was about to ramble on a bit praising the revamp, but I think lavieenrose has put it better than I could. THIS is how you do a revamp! More strings, more backing vocals, more power. Take note, Albania. I wouldn't go so far as to say this is in my top 3, but I think this revamp will put it back in my top 10 after sitting around #20 for a while. Lots of small changes, but they're all good ones.

I will have to be honest.

This is an entry that I really wanna like more, but I just can´t. Those drums at the intro and before the first chorus really give me the chills!

And that is why I wish that the rest of the song had that unique sound rather than the usual, recognizable pop refrain.

Its not that the refrain sounds bad itself, but it just leaves you cold when you are expecting something more unorthodox and more fresh after hearing that intro and those first verses. That is my main problem. I don´t have a problem with any of the artists in the song (Jala makes it more fresh).

I still have yet to fully listen and rank all the semi final 1 entries. So far, I think that I can rank this one as a borderline qualifier, but nothing higher than that, unfortunately.

The revamp is insignificant for the most part. From what I can tell, the chorus is more rich and they added a few more instruments here and there. I was hoping they'd get rid of, over at least cover up, the annoying drum pieces making this song so awkwardly funny. I'm so glad that Bosnia is back but I'm afraid that their return to the contest could also end up their first year of not qualifying.

They are recording a video for the song, it will be published this or next week.

This is shaping up to be rather promising live... as long as they figure out what to do with Jala after his part's over, rather than just having him awkwardly wandering around the stage

According to resources, there was a fight between the Bosnian composer for this year, Jala and some other people last night during Deen's birthday celebration.

This is such a shame, if this is all true they fully deserve to be disqualified (Jala and Almir) by BHRT.

PS

The head of the Bosnian delegation said "all options are open".

It has been confirmed they have a meeting today with BHRT to make an official statement and decision on their trip to Stockholm.

Well, somebody might stay home in May.

I honestly feel that It's all a publicity stunt ......

Awful song trying to be revived by gossip magazines is pathetic ..... Just bring Maya Sar back and the rest can rap their way back to Sarajevo.

Well, I hope the composer won't be allowed to go since he started with this and made a huge problem to the rest of delegation.

If this were true, I'd actually kind of like that Jala is an honest-to-goodness rapper who does rapper-y things like get into fistfights with his management. However, accounts seem to be that it's been quite exaggerated by Eurovisionary.

I don't know if that's true, but I wouldn't agree with you in case it was. I find the behavior of throwing bottles at others or using any other form of violence against another person unacceptable, regardless of the profession of the one in question. I find it problematic to make violence an acceptable feature of an artist as if this was something that has to be done to be a great artist.
