Bigicia, officially the Kingdom of Bigicia, is a nation in the northern part of Natia, west of the mini continent of Highwind. It borders
Aimūlli to the west,
Cherniya to the north-east and
Zechonia to the south-west. The eastern part of its southern border is all but wilderness and ruins of long gone civilisations. It is not known when the lands of Bigicia were first inhabited and historians agree that the proto-Bigician tribes migrated here from the south, however the cause for this mass migration in unknown.The kingdom is in present-day a unitary parliamentary constitutional monarchy following the transition to democracy that happened in mid-2020 and it's currently ongoing. The democratization process kickstarted after the death of the heir apparent, Crown Prince Abnur, who failed to produce surviving heirs to the Bigician throne thus leaving the throne open to a succession crisis. Trying to avert such a grim future, a Great Council was convened by old King Torrhen III, a council of Bigician nobles gathered to resolve contentious issues such as the succession of the realm and the fate of the High Council as a political institution.
