Well, for me it was Carola winning over Amina. Just because of some stupid counting of 10s (or was it even 8s). They should have declared both of them winners.

Before even entering the topic I was thinking "Blackbird" in my head, and after pondering a bit deeper, I still think Blackbird. It wasn't even a huge favourite of mine before the contest but everything about the performance was so sincere and beautiful. It was raw emotion and it touched me deep. It actually hurt to experience a piece of music and display of emotions like that missing, and then seeing afterwards that the jury didn't even support it (that was absolutely rage inducing). Many of my favourite songs have missed over years, ones I love much more than Blackbird, but when I take more of an unbiased look at things, I can accept why they failed. I still don't understand Blackbird's failure. It doesn't make sense to me. If parallel universes exist, I think we're the only one in which the song failed.

Same here. Don't know if it is the biggest injustice, but the way Norma presented the song and performance was outstanding and went straight to the heart. Will never understand why she didn't make it.

Second biggest injustice is when Romania didn't pick Florena - Behind the shadows, and Eurovision missed out on a great song, maybe even a winner. (justice served to Romania for being disallowed that year).

The fact that Macedonia, Finland, Greece and Belgium were Fan-Favourites this year, while good Songs from Norway, Sweden and Moldova were among the most hated Songs.

In my opinion Switzerland got hit hard the last years. I loved their entries in 2012 and 2013 as well as this year, even 2017 was up there as one of my favourites until they ruined the staging themselves.

Agreed, Switzerland got some undeserved results; Stones deserved the final, just like Apollo (horrible staging though). Last of our Kind and Time to Shine didn't deserve last place AT ALL and You and Me an Unbreakable were good as well. Funnily enough I wasn't really a fan of Hunter of Stars

- EBU blocking Kazakhstan from participating based on vague and dubious reasons alone
- Poland 2014, Montenegro 2013 getting robbed by the juries
- Italy 2015 not winning
- Czech Republic receiving 0 points from the televoting 2016
- Eurovision 1994's outcome
- Nightwish not winning the Finnish preselection due to juries discriminating metal
- Turkey ending up being #3 in the televoting 2012 (diaspora, much?)

Still can't quite get over Greta not qualifying. I genuinely thought she was a potential winner. I'm still pondering that one...and seething about it.

Yeah, I've never been quite sure on that one either. I think most flops can be explained, even if you like the song, but Greta's NQ still has me scratching my head.

My own entry in that category would probably be Latvia 2016, with Heartbeat. It was a great song, liked by the fans, contemporary, well-staged, perfect vocals, the lot; it was considered a fairly safe bet for top 10, and a probable top 5. Not quite sure how it ended in 15th (though at least it managed to qualify).

Yes, it’s criminal that «Blackbird» didn’t get through, but obviously the juries didn’t feel the song for some reasons xboring
But the fact that this entry did so consistently poor with the juries, I slightly believe that it just wasn’t meant to be

Israel 2013 not qualifying, although Moran Mazor's dress was horrible, Rak Bishvilo was really good
Finland 2012 not qualifying, such a beautiful song

Absolutely. Loved the choreography and the song. Maybe for the people it was a too dark presentation? It Is a mystery ...

Greta not getting through, while Samra sailing through the grand final. This is one of the biggest injustices. If :az: qualified back then with these awful vocals, thus :is: should have too.

I just randomly stumbled upon Cyprus's 2007 Eurovision entry " Comme Ci, Comme ça" By Evridiki and i remembered how furious i was that the didn't even QUALIFY FOR THE FINAL!

One of the many times Cyprus has been snobed in ESC , no way if one of the "big" Eurovision countries competed with a song like that and a great live performance wouldn't have qualified for the final. If Evridiki had competed for Greece she would have qualified just because it would be a greek entry. For shame!

San Marino wasting a golden opportunity to get its best result in 2018 when Sara de Blue was robbed at 1in360 was a huge injustice for me. Apparently her dress was a distraction while nothing was said about the plunging neckline of Jessika's jumpsuit (some juries obviously have a thing for Maltese acts since the jurors' top 2 were both Maltese - Franklin and Jessika). It's a song contest, not a beauty pageant! So I hope Sara's dream comes true in the next couple of years
