The odds were doing pretty well to predict the outcome those past years, sure in 2011 there is going to be some surprises and all but i don't think there is room for a massive surprise nowadays.

Even if you have a bad bet, now we hall the coverage, reviews and media we get from the Semis, you are sure to have a better one and an even better one after the semi and at least be a 14/1 kind of surprise.

We won't see people like that Danish guy from 2000 making a fortune because he bet his salary on Denmark at something like 100/1 lol unless he did it very early, i hear some peple bet on france when it was at 70/1 and almost the same for uk so good for them if they win.

But now is Eurovision 2000 was today, i think that will all the blog about the rehearsals and media stuff from esctoday about how great the stage looked for denmark, good performance and strong crowd reaction, Denmark would have been much closer to 10 or 15/1 Like Finland was in 2006.

So i'm looking for surprises, but i will be very atonished if anything wins without being under 20/1 the day of the final.

You are right, its not going to happen - a winner at 20/1 or bigger. The bookies are geting better at assessing the ESC every year. Look no further than the top four but Hungary are the "dark horse" for sure. Sweden are not as popular(!!) as the bookies or polls suggest (top 8 but not top 2).

I wanted to bet on :uk: months ago but bwin doesen't release odds until all songs are published. I knew :uk: would come with something really good so they can have Eurovision and the Olympics in 2012 :D

^^Sad thing to remember :( Because of this, I don't trust odds more. Everyone can win. Belgium 06, Sweden 08 are some more who show it!
