Well, it's really a decade + 1.
Germany would be a new decade ;)

I'm aware of that, but I figured no one would complain. I was wrong... :)

I've never really liked any winning song, so I don't really know. I guess Greece.

Ruslana obviously, closely followed by Marija. In the Ruslana got my vote though. Simply epicness from Ukraine that year.

I can't tell you how much more I preferred 'Never Let You Go' to 'Believe'.

For me this poll is easy, but its only me voted for the option so far!

FLY ON THE WINGS OF LOVE :D

While I really like 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2009 I choose the Turkey in 2003. I still love that song more than the other winners.

Germany would be a new decade ;)

Germany is the last winner of this decade, if we consider that the decade is 2001-2010. Although 2000 is thought by most people as the first year of the new millennium, it is actually the last year of the previous one and Olsen Bros are actually the last winners of the previous millennium.

But seriously, who could have waited for 2001 to celebrate the new millennium? ;)

For the record, I voted for Lordi.

Well I really think that 2000 is the first year of the decade. Otherwise we wouldn't call these ten years 00's.

For example, 70's, 80's, 90's. That's when the decade begins! ;) ;)

This is what most people think, this is what I thought myself. But it actually goes like this (remember that we begin with 1 A.D., there's no 0 year):

1...10
11...20
51...60
101...110
991...1000
1991...2000
2001...2010
