All Ukrainian song was very good (exception is 2005), I doubt between Alyosha and Ani, and voted for Alyosha!

I couldnt decide between Ruslana and Svetlana but in the end I voted for Svetlana... I think it was those Romans which swayed me ;D.
Apart from those two, I quite like Alyosha also! :D

The worst for me was Mika, I dont like it at all.

My own rating.

1. Alyosha - I almost fell off the chair when I've heard that she participates in the NF. I have a feeling that only me and a dozen of fans knew about her existence before the NF.
And I've already knew that she will be my choice. But she managed to impress me to that point .... I stood up from the chair and listened to her while standing on my feet. It was the most magic moment ever. I dunno, I felt unity in the venue and it was THAT. As appeared she "hypnotized" the whole country and the I-net basically exploded. Newcomer overpassed ALL biggest performers after just 1 performance. And after ESC she became THE most popular singer here (according to combined data of all search sites, video views from Ukraine, downloads etc.). I know what she experienced, I saw that myself and I know that she paid with her health, the mental tension was colossal.
Her co-author betrayed her, she recorded 3 new songs within just 1 day, she negotiated with EBU, she had to experience an epic crapfest from newspapers and ESC "fans", she had to visit numerous interviews and morning shows (she didn't sleep for few days).
Despite everything she managed to give outstanding performance while having just her performing skills and wind machine - totally unexpected thing from us

2. Ruslana - I didn't like the song since the beginning. I liked it when I've seen the live performance in Iceland
Turkey. The most energetic and authentic ESC performance ever. They broke the stage on the rehearsals, papparazies... I haven't seen SO many of them, the sea of people with cameras, lol. I jumped and screamed like crazy. Just like my neighbours )))))) I haven't felt so much happiness for someone else in my whole life. I knew her since 1996 and we used to write each other before ESC, she's incredible in person. I'm grateful till the end of my life that I met her. Also my city was the 2nd in her post-ESC tour (almost immediately after ESC) and I screwed my uni and went to her hotel together with my friends in order to congratulate her and give her presents.
The concert... people were everywhere. On the roofs, on the trees, on the buses, on the balconies.... true madness.

3. Verka - I didn't believe in her since the beginning and I disliked the song until 1 day before the final. I thought "ahhh! Screw everything, let's have a party!" xcheers I wish I could watch it in the bar with my bf but I was with my parents, we haven't laughed so hard and we even danced, looool. For the first time travestie act received "The national artist of Ukraine" title from the president  And she got it after Eurovision, not after selling 2 million records. Negative note - Verka became less popular after ESC. She was censored in Russia - everything, from the TV to concerts. It really hit Andriy. Then he had a depression but still he released an album and started a TV show but now he doesn't appear anywhere here. Currently he's on tour in Russia (after 3 years he's been allowed).

4. Mika Newton - perfect vocals, it was my most fave entry on the NF and I'm happy that she turned this song from an ordinary ballad "about love" on something social. When she refused from performing at Gorbatchov's birthday party and performed in karaoke bar on her fan gathering I changed my mind about her. She can seem cold but she's a really kind person, in the same time she went through a court case against the previous producer, on her own. After that ESC and usual pressure doesn't seem so hard.
Dusseldorf. When the mic didn't turn on and she stood there in darkness for 40 secs ... I dunno, I saw all rehearsals and imo she gave her best performance on the final night. I knew that she was nervous because of that but she didn't seem bothered and it impressed me, the ending gave me shievers because I have a weakness for strong voices and camera work was excellent. The song could be better of course but she managed to find the best variant (imo) how to perform it.

5. Ani Lorak - I still dislike the song )))) Cheesy, tacky... yucky ... dumb lyrics & primitive chorus, music, eeeew =/ But performance managed to impress me. I almost choked when I've seen the rehearsal. The best show that year. She could perform it better vocally but having +39 temperature, being on antibiotics, ok I shouldn't complain... it was also the most nervous moment for me becasue we were thinking about withdrawal 1 day before the semi. I really liked the outcome, still I don't listen to the song.

6. Loboda. She wanted to create the best show but EBU pawned her ambitions and it turned on a the biggest mess ))))) Hunky dancers, slutty costumes, I thought I'm gonna have a heart attack during her salto  , aggressive sexuality, simple lyrics (I liked it and disliked it, I liked being a slut in heat but I disliked its simplicity), too loud backing vocals. It was too much of everything.

7. Tina Karol - I liked its ethnic part. Never liked the song (not its 1st version, not ESC version). She could perform it better vocally.

8. Oleksandr - meh. Still it was our 1st entry. We heard about ESC only from newspapers and we didn't really know what it is. Imo, this is THE worst song in his discography.

9. Greenjolly... I strongly disliked that entry because it belonged to the Orange Revolution. It was political song and imo it belonged to us only. To that current event. I really liked this song, of course I used to wear orange and b-tch with the teachers in the uni about politics. Ahhh, awesome times. But on ESC this entry seemed horrible.

4. 2008 - Shady Lady (I was so disappointed they didn't pick Dream of a Brighter Day, but she really nailed it and the song really grew on me)
xkiss I feel exactly the same.

These are my rankings.

1. 2004
2. 2010
3. 2006
4. 2007
5. 2008
6. 2009
7. 2005
8. 2003
9. 2011

I don't know why, but I really didn't like Mika Newton. I thought her song was incredibly cheesy and I don't think she would've done as well without the sand artists. I wish Zlata Ognevich would have won the NF, in my opinion, she had the strongest voice in the Ukrainian NF. Jamala would have been great as well, her song was so unique, and I loved the little radio part in the song with the different types of music. Her voice and note changes were flawless.

Because of this revolution, we missed meeting her for the first time :(

Also by the unfair process of the Ukrainian NF 2005, the organizers was banned this masterprice by afaird xmusic
