Ya know, I heard few times about all this depression but thought "wtf are they talking about"... I changed my mind when I got up yesterday and felt so... empty. Today's much better though ;p

PED didn´t hit me so hard this year (but it´s there of course), because I´m already looking forward to visit a great festival in 4 weeks and after it the World Cup will start :-)

But I think after world cup, PED will hit me with full force again -.-

Well the deadline for participation is in November. Last year the first NF was like December 21st in Ukraine.

I get over it simply with good music. From now to December, I will proudly wallow in my melancholy. Soap&Skin and The Velvet Underground have already been on rotation the day after the contest finished. I'll listen to some lofi music recorded through a tin can, perhaps record some of my own music into a tin can. I'll stare out the window for a while, watch the rain. Dream a little.

Then as soon as Festivali i kenges comes round again, i'll turn into a homosexual once more.. forever a vicious cycle, six months of taste, six months of Eurovisionxqueenbitch

Just a reminder our dear escunited already has published an article about that a long time ago. I'll probably try out the first one :D

PED didn't hit me as hard this year. I usually wake up feeling empty like a bag of used potatoes, but I dunno ... I hope my love isn't wearing off.

I don't have PED at all because I use to follow a process : when it's like March or April, I start following two or three threads, so I read all your comments without even knowing what the songs sound like. As a result, I discover all the songs during the 2 semis and the final. After Eurovision ends, I buy the cd and it is so fresh in my mind that I don't feel depressed at all. Then I don't Watch again the videos of the performances since I wait for the dvd, in the meantime, I read half of the threads from the beginning, so I can live what I missed.

When I get the dvd, I Watch it a lot, I love doing my ranking again and again so that I can have a nice top 12. When I feel I've watched the show enough, it's almost the end of the year. so I have a break. In january, I read the second half of the threads I didn't read and here comes March! ;)

In the months leading up to the contest I only listened to songs from this years Eurovision and Nfs. Now it's over, I can return to my vast Eurovision and NF playlist and listen to that. Plus exams give little time to worry over Eurovision

PED hasn't kicked in for me. Usually it wouldn't kick in until another major international competition comes around (in this year's case, the World Cup)

I am depressed too, but because I'm so dissapointed by the Maltese jury, ranking us #22

Manolito Galea & Pamela Bezzina ranked us 23 & 24
And Elton Zarb thought we were the worst of all the contesters, ranking us the very last place #25.

And than San Marino, a whopping win for us #1 in the semi, but 4 days later #9
And Azerbadjan 12 points
