Kan (1991)!!! It's still my all-time favorite non-winner ESC song. I was a fan instantly of the song when I first heard it (and saw it) on the ESC preview show back in 1991. I can't believe I'm the only one who voted for it.

Hallelujah, A-ba-ni-bi, Derech Hamelech, Amen and Diva are my other Israeli favorites.

I loved that song. Much better than the winner that year.

Harel Skaat is a close second. He's the complete package for me. Haha

Well I suppose I'm a little bit biased about the winner of 1991 since I'm Swedish and was a huge fan of Carola and the song at the time and I do think she deserved to win, even today. But yeah, had Carola not been there, Duo Datz would have been my winner of choice.

Without doubt - "Diva". I heared that song soooo long ago on the radio, when ESC wasn`t popular in BG and i didn`t had a clue that it won ESC, but i remember that I liked it.
I also liked the israeli entry in 2005 (the first year I watched ESC live).

No doubts for me - Ey Sham, 1973. Amazing song, one of my all-time ESC favourites. Her voice was crystal-clear and she was so beautiful.
I don't think Israel have ever surpassed this early effort, though I love Ofra Haza 1983.

In my humble opinion Kan 1991 is not only Israel's best song ever in ESC, it is certainly one of the most impressive masterpieces in the eurovision song contest that I absolutely

Israel is probably one of my favorite countries in Eurovision. I have quite a bit of favorites: 1978, 1979, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1998, 2005, 2009, 2010, 2012. I'm leaning towards 1979 or 1988.

Israel is one of my all-time favorite ESC countries, so this is a tough one.

My pick would be 1991: Duo Datz - Kan

Other stand-out ones : 1983, 1981, 1998, 2005, 1976, 1973, 2008, 1995, 1978, 1977, 1979.... :)
