I agree bashers. I think an unfortunate victim of the Sweden obsession camp right now, where many acts are glossed over. Best Belgium entry for maybe ten or so years, and I include that as being better than Tom Dice. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on qualification?

I'm sorry but there is a reason why this song is 2nd to last in the current forum ranking. It has 0 mass appeal. Sure some individuals like it which happens to every song but I just can't see this one in the finals.

I totally get that Sim, I didn't care for Germany's entry last y year either but was still rooting for it, that's natural.
And the thing is, Iris seems really sweet and I just wish her song was better cause she does have the likeability factor IMO

Well, in my point of view, it has appeal. A ballads lover would not hate this. She just needs to improve that live performance. Her stage presence and moves are kinda awkward, but she can improve it. With good vocals and better stage presence, there's a huge possibility of Belgium getting massive support from the juries this year.
And it's okay for you to like it. That is why I said "Mass appeal". The vast majority of fans do not really care for this song. That doesn't make it a better or worse song I was just making a point.
And I am a so called "ballad lover". I love Spain, Serbia, Slovenia, Germany, Estonia & Finland but Belgiumt to me is underwhelming and something I would expect to hear at JESC.

Hmmm I really don't understand why people wouldn't like this. With a decent live performance, it could do well. However, with other songs in the same semi - I think it will struggle. Its my 10th out of the whole competition!

There are only like 3-4 good song in SF1 so it does have a chance to make it to final and I kind of like song too.

I hope that in the future, VTM enters the EBU and gets the right to choose someone for ESC
Like seriously, they had a half year to search for a song for Iris & come up with something old-fashioned, safe, ok, while VTM can write two AMAZING songs for the final of The Voice, both songs are written by famous Belgians so we CAN do it, we only have to want it
