Oh well, she may qualify. The running order isn't that bad for her.

her boppy dancy song follows a long list of slow-mid tempo songs. Then back to ballads. She will stand out for sure.
Idk what's gonna be on stage for her. I've heard it'll be different from NF. They are keeping it secret... Mind you, the guy behind her came up with naked guy on stage, holographic wolves, multiplied singer on different instruments on stage and a dancing baby... so yeah...
I guess we can safely assume Zena won't be naked since she's underage. everything else is a fair game. lol

This song is the best bop of the year and so underrated. It's way more pleasant and catchy than Replay or other Fuegos 2.0.19

8 points for now, might creep into my Top 10. Of course, it's not a masterpiece, unlike Siren Song.

I asked zena, i have very uncomfy question. Your producer viktor drobysh and belarus homophobic? And she said no and yesterday she blocked me when I said is she afraid of potential booing and that it's ironic that her song "like it" has more dislikes than likes. Also, her producer's hateful post was liked by her according to some people. Is there an evidence for it?

This song is cute and such a grower. It just creeped into my top 10.

Her producer is very likely an anus though. I don't buy the "I've got gay friends" and was "just being ironic" excuse, especially as you then go on to placing homosexual people in separate gay and f*ggot categories. Like what is that even supposed to mean? The apology was (or came off as) insincere and I think it is quite a clear case of malice, if all the translations are correct (which I'm sure they are if his comment was removed for hate speech). Maybe you can cut a little slack sometimes as people come from different cultures, and environments shape our views. I'm the first to say that I think people throw around racist, homophobic, sexist etc cards too much, without thinking deeper first and assessing characters or situations properly through. At the same time though when people are being stoned to death in certain parts of the world for being themselves, it's not really the time to be making tasteless jokes about wanting a country at Eurovision that just passed a law that would have some of us imprisoned and killed for just existing.

I'm usually good at separating artists from their work, and in this case I don't even really need to, as this is Zena's moment. I hope people don't direct negative things her way. Had to write a little something about her producer though cause those jokes were sick, and the last thing we need right now.

I just watched the Amsterdam performance and Zena is so good. The song demands this relentless energy that she just has in abundance, and she absolutely owns it all. I'm starting to pick up some dark horse vibes. If Belarus get the staging spot on, why couldn't Zena pull off a Poli Genova moment with her song? She's young, talented, likeable and possesses a song that's very catchy (that pre-chorus is ridiculously infectious karma). I feel semi 1 is incredibly open. It's almost hard to count anyone out and there are not many certain qualifiers (even the ones most assume are lock ins like Portugal and Iceland I'm hesitant to say are even close to being 100% in for certain). Belarus has got great potential to surprise many. Of all the chart ready pops this year, I'd say that Like It is easily the most inviting.

I wonder how will zena and her team deal with all unpleasant questions about homophobia in their team caused by her producer viktor drobysh celebrating new Brunei law. Even without this controversy, her song is meh for me and we can see according to likes dislikes ratio on yt, others agree with me. Even if it qualifies somehow, will finish between 20-26 place. That's how I feel abt it and I watch eurovision for 20 years so I think I know what I'm talking.

Well, unless Viktor Drobysh is dragged along to Tel Aviv and positions himself next to Zena for every interview, she really shouldn’t be probed on things someone else has said. He may have been a part of the team that wrote her entry but Zena is a 16 year old girl who shouldn’t be taking any of this mans heat. What Viktor said was tasteless and abhorrent but Zena doesn’t deserve to suffer and be made to feel uncomfortable during her experience at the contest because of his ugly words.

I think people should be accountable for their words, especially if u are influential person. Someone even said that she liked his post where he celebrates new Brunei law before Instagram deleted it. If that's the case, then she has the same views as him. Even if it's not the case, that shouldn't be swept under the rug. She should voice her opinion and say yes I agree with him or no, I don't condone his words. It's abhorrent. People should be free to love whoever they want, we need more love, to be open minded.. That's why it's good that she gets those questions so we can see what's her stance on it. I asked her is belarus and her producer homophobic and she said NO. I mean, even with the evidence, she was lying to me.

Majority of dislikes under her videos are actual Belarusians who are still salty about her win. Did it smell bad? It almost always does in Belarus, whatever. It WAS one of the 2-3 songs that were legit head and shoulders above the rest of the selection. Deal with it. I didn't like how the other contestants were treated and almost humiliated in that stupid selection, but unless we see a receipt of a purchasing agreement, Zena had nothing to do with that.

As for ALLEGED like on that Brunei post. Don't you know how teenagers go through their Insta feed? they just automatically like if not all posts, then majority of them. Without even looking at them properly, or reading what's written underneath.
again... EVEN IF she did like that post doesn't mean that she shares this view.
her being a busy full of herself overachieving teenager it might not even be her who is manning her social media account.
Should this post be addressed at Eurovision? I guess maybe... and it probably will. should she be dragged over the hot coals over it? absolutely not.

girl SLAYED her live performance. I never really doubted. I might not like her over confidence and this all or nothing youth maximalism, but those are all normal for talented young extraverted people. We were all teenagers, this will pass. Talent will stay. She can sing live and does it very well. And in this case when all the negativity is pouring her way her cockiness and overconfidence are actually positives. For her. At least we know she won't crumble under pressure like Alekseev last year.

I'm astonished you seem surprised that she blocked you.

laura bretan is proud xsalute

I know right. Imagine eurovision without a homophobe. This year we had 2. Laura and zena. Thankfully, wiwibloggs did right thing and hate was stopped. I wonder will there ever be a year without a homophobe. And those are all openly homophobic who go to a competition with large lgbt following. I wanted to ask zena will she continue collaboration with a man who celebrated death penalty for a marginalised community =crime against humanity. I can't believe these things are happening in 21 century. But since she can't handle truth, hopefully credentials and press will ask her at press conference. #noh8
