MaNga got the best group award! xcheer And Serdar Ortaç won best male singer award xpuke I'm not surprised though.

I watched the show. If hosts spoke english, it would be great. I couldn't understand what happened sometimes. Who got the best Balkan song award really? :D

Anyway, i support this project. I hope everything will be better in next years :)

Hosts' speaking in Bulgarian was stupid, one of them should have spoken in English. It's an international broadcast.

^ In the greek broadcast we had a Bulgarian woman translating to greek. Her greek wasn't perfect so for some people she was a bit annoying but I think it was a good move. She sounded funny most of the times but at least we could tell what was going on. :)

However I didn't watch the show! I just saw a few videos. :p

Hm... I thought the TV programs who broadcasted the show had comentators who translated what the host say? At least last year they had on the romanian TV.

indeed :)
I wish they talked in English.....It would be so easier for some countries, because this show involves talking, though it's not hard to guess what they say...

I think the whole idea for the thing was the hosting country to speak on their balkan language and not in english, probablly because english isn`t a balkan language. This year Serbia had to host the event (because they won) and probably their hosts would spoke on serbian, but they didn`t host and they had to bash the "Best Balkan song of the year" awards, because many artists didn`t showed up (yes, Helena Paparizou, I`m looking at you )

I don`t think the language was such a big problem, but the thing that the broadcasters who broadcasted the thing didn`t find comentators/translators for the people who (of course) don`t speak the language that it`s spoken on the show.

Thanks, now I understand...I personally didn't know that the country who wins must host the next edition...
And I'm very curious what song won too..I mean, last year we knew who won...

We didn`t had voting this year and we didn`t had a winner for "Best Balkan Song" award. They couldn`t organize it with so many absent singers.
All singers got an award for winning for their country. But if there was a voting for the best song, for me Slovenia deserved to get the award this year. Rebeka was more then perfect on stage.

It was more like a tv concert with different musicians than a contest to me :)
