When it comes up on my Eurovision playlist, the sneer that comes across my face is real

Just finished watching the interview, some tidbits:

• Nadir is a professional swimmer (wouldn't have expected that).
• 300 songs were submitted, 6 songs were shortlisted based on the suitability to his voice but he only recorded 4 as these are the ones that he really like.
• The 4 songs are in various genres - hard rock, soft rock, ballad etc.
• The selected song is about love and he describes it as a beautiful song.
• He did not disclose the genre of his entry as he is not allowed to.
• He explained how the "Julius Caesar" connection came about and it may/may not be related to his ESC entry (I think likely it's not).
• Being able to perform in ESC is his childhood dream and he started watching ESC closely when Azerbaijan started taking part in 2008.
• The music video has been filmed (it is filmed in Azerbaijan - duh considering the time restrictions) but he has yet to see the final product.
• The music video contains stunning views and scenery, will show different sides of him and is interesting like a film.
• He is confident that people following Eurovision will talk about it.

He comes across pretty likeable. And totally does not look like your typical Azeri.
