bold prediction: they will send someone with a song that is juuuuuuust left-of-center enough to keep the fans happy, but still swedish enough to keep their chances alive in the contest, the singer will hate their own song, they will be in danger of not qualifying, but probably will, and place anywhere between 8th and 22nd in the final. hooray fake-indie azerbaijan!

I love this post and agree with it 100%, however, those are the same reasons why this is probably my favorite country in the competition. Well, that and the fact that they have some serious stunners in their back catalogie and they are on a roll in recent years. It does feel a bit cynical at times but I am living for it! Mind you that Sweden does not move an inch from the centre so I'd rather take what Azerbaijan has to offer.
