Doesn't seem like a song to perform live, and gets a little repetitive towards the end
Okay entry but I'm not sure it fits Chingiz and wonder how it'll be live.

I'm surprised Azerbaijan has gone for quite mid-territory pop for two years in a row. This one has a slight alternative (I say that loosely) vibe to it and a spluttering of ethnic elements here and there, but it's still overly safe, whilst not doing enough to get away with it. It unfortunately comes off as bland. My first listen and I found it to be very repetitive and it didn't grab me in at all. The music video was cool though. I really wanted to like this entry but it's another one to sit with my now very hefty pile of 5 pointers that are just there, and I probably won't ever get into. It's a song and package that leaves me cold, with no particular strong feelings either way. I'd say it can reach the final though.

I like it. But the verses more than the stadium rock like chorus. After the teaser I expected something more subtle, but this is in your face.
He is cute tough.

Very good! Just the right balance between modern and artistic but not overly pretentious. :D

Now that we're geting close to the end, I appreciate every new song i like even more. 2019 is saved! xyes

Im confused, music video is great and maybe that is the problem...performance on the stage cant be that interesting and edgy for sure..

It is a bit repititive but it is still greater than what I expected. Based on the quality of this year's contest, this is one of the better entries. With a cool concept of a stage performance like the one in the music video, it could be pleasing to watch it in the contest.

Mid-through the song I closed the stream when I realized that I am more looking the video than listening to it. It's quite funny, the video seems to be better than the song itself. Azeris are in trouble - again.

I love how the song starts out! I I like what follows. I find this entry a little more daring than many of Azerbaijans former songs. It does get a bit repetitive in the end though, and the chorus is not as strong and with that power that I would have preferred. But all in all I find this very good. 8 I think...

azerbaijan's fear of being an actual country with its own identity will be their undoing. some actual ethnic arrsngements and this becomes a contender. but then again, they went after symphonix and SJB. transparently oportunistic. maybe that's azerbaijan's identity!

anyway, i shouldn't drag them so hard since the song is good. there is no way he will pull off this chorus live and no way this gets the best SJB staging of the year, so it will just be like 14th like bones was, but it's once again for them solid pop that is juuuuuuuuuust left of center enough to not have The Basic Police™️ knocking on their door. 8 points for azerbaijan.

also chingiz is an entire korean royal cuisine meal in this video. all the thirst in the thread again please.

Only Milanov worked on the Song, not the whole Symphonix Group?

E: Bo J = Joacim Bo Persson, so its 2 of them.

Trey co-wrote it too, I think? Lol I mean, is Boris and Trey wrote it (with some others), it definitely counts as a Symphonix production, come on.

Trey is from USA and no Symphonix-Member as Far as I know, Symphonix consists only of Swedes, Austrians and Bulgarians. But yes, 2 of them is enough to count it as Symphonix-Prodution.

Hmmm. Not too sure about the song. The music video is very well-done. Love the artistic/futuristic with some ethnicity vibe to it.
I want to like Azerbaijan's entries, I have a soft spot for the country, and I love most of their entries.
But I do agree with some of the sentiments shared here, the song seems too overly produced and I am wondering how it is going to translate 'live'.
I am not too worried about the staging coz they usually get it well-done.

And I dare say, this entry could possibly be snatching all the gay votes from Sergey/Luca.
Borderline qualifier for now. Giving it a 7.
