What is the screening process for participants on this show? Whoever puts some of these singers through to a live show should be fired.

it is easy to explain. more participants more money. the longer process of selection on TV the more money will ITV make and besides our people love drama. at the end they will pick up the most suitable option anyway

I'm wondering do these singers choose the song on their own. I listened "Watch my dance" and "Fire in your eyes" and I couldn't listen any more.
I think if they are going to sing something then they should learn the words. "Fire in your eyes" wasn't that bad, but that "Watch my dance" Loukas part. ouch!

Hundereds of Families evicted for Eurovision Venue!!!

Azerbaijan’s win at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest was a joyous occasion for almost all Azeris. Hundreds of families living in the center of Baku may already curse their countries’ victory as they are evicted from their homes to make place for the new hall that is being built in Baku for the hosting of the Eurovision Song Contest 2012. The BBC’s Damien McGuinness reports that the inhabitants of several buildings around and at the building site of Baku Crystal Hall were evicted.

I don't know what you think, but I think this is not acceptable... Either they change their behaviour or another country gets the hosting rights... I know you will say you shouldn't mix politics and show, but in this case the show produces pain for people... That's not the Eurovision spirit!

BBC plays a dirty game by writing only negative episodes from the whole story. First, no one is evicted from their homes for the new concert hall. Baku Crystal Hall is under construction on a small peninsula where there were no housing at all. And demolition process of the buildings in both Bailovo and Fizuli street (ex-Basino) started far before we Azerbaijan Eurovision. It is withing realization of a city redevelopment plan since majority of those houses don't have basic infrastructure and some of them are really in terrible conditions. In general Eurovision only accelerated some processes like expansion of seaside promenade, demolition of some housing in Bailovo or the construction of the sport-concert venue and we Azerbaijanies are happy with that. People have choise to get even bigger apartments in newly-built residential buildings or to get 1500 AZN per sq, which is more than enough to buy even a bigger apartment in the area of downtown. So BBC better chose your entry, city redevelopment plans of Baku is not your business.

Well, like always I say, the truth lays between what you say and what BBC say:p

Err... is he singing the Russian or the Serbian version? Can't tell. :X
He sings the Serbian one but so terribly bad :? He mixed up all the lyrics and he didn't sing the hardest part of the song T() By and large this was the worst performance of Molitva I have ever listened

WOW. THAT'S the Serbian version?!?!
Why would he even attempt to sing something in a language he knows nothing about? It sounds horrible!

I think the guy is very enthusiastic. I give him so much credit for that and the fact that he is so into it. He does connect with each song, but wow he is funny to listen to. And this is not the first time I heard him singing.

I honestly couldn't understand it. "kazhe imo tvojo mojo jedino".
I know! He said "kayozhya" instead of "bas kao ja". xrofl3
