Sounds ok but I dont know, when you enter ESC you shouldn't create a song for the radio only but mostly a song for a live contest. Its gonna take great vocals, clever staging and a lot of energy for a song like this to work live, especially in 2022.

Austria is not playing it safe this year. The song is a pleasant surprise. I expected more EDM but the smart thing about "Halo" is, that it has televote and jury appeal.

Like many mentioned the staging is a big challenge.

Are you sure Juries will LOVE it though? I think it will be definitely stronger with televoters? It might have a decent Jury result aswell though

I am seriously concerned though, it sounds almost impossible to produce this voice live? It sounds like it has way too many effects.
There's not much info about Pia Maria's singing career, but I hope she nails it

I heard there will be supposedly no pyro effects. ORF does not want that in view of the war in Ukraine. They are mainly supposed to work with the video backdrop for now.

Well you never know of course. Last Year I was surprised by the good jury result for Moldowia though that song was very cheap and she could not sing at all. On the other side there were acts like Keiino with a poor jury vote. Halo is a cheap song but in a very professional way. Of course it is not easy to predict how juries will find it. But it is quite sure that there will be a strong televote. I mean LUM!X has a huge fanbase throughout europe. I think soon we will find Halo in the charts of some countries.
