Hmmm well, I didn't hate Vincent's entry last year even though it wasn't one of my favourites. I can't say I'm excited but I'm curious of course as it's another entry. Also, a lot of artists whose songs I disliked last year (Benny, Montaigne, Go_A) have really pleased me this time. Vincent might have raised his game like quite a few other artists have done so far.

I also didn't like last year's entry much, but since some artists did better than last year, (Ukraine, Belgium, Australia, Czech Republic) I am HOPING that this is the case with Bueno as well. Some, of course, had worser entries, but I am satisfied so far.

ORF describes it as a "catchy tune for Rotterdam" at the PC.
“Amen” begins very calmly and with minimal instrumentation. This part is particularly carried by the voice of Vincent Bueno, which is sometimes quite deep. That sounds good. The chorus then becomes powerful and a tambourine is added. The whole thing has minimal traits of gospel, but cannot be assigned to the genre. The second stanza is a bit stronger. The refrain thus consists of the "Amen", which is not to be understood as a church amen. Rather, it aims to get the singer to say goodbye to his love, although he is not happy with the way they break up. At the end the song rears up twice to the powerful and grand finale. That can certainly be staged nicely on the stage.

This year the genre was opened up away from the up-tempo in order to find a title that can work in an arena without an audience.

It's about the inner struggle, the dramatic love affair. In principle, however, it is about all relationships of all kinds that break up. It's a very strong song with force and the glimmer of hope at the end of the song, Vincent said.

I rarely change my opinion about the song or a singer.

I also don't like other songs/singers like lithuanian roop etc but you cannot love them all and you cannot dislike all songs.

Btw, i have to be cautious with Norwegian thread. I don't wanna get another trophy like in vb for the contribution to it.

I have high hopes in austria this year. I'm sure it's gonna be epic. Btw, when will it be realized? In what time?

What is the difference between the live performance and a tape recording in / for Rotterdam. The stages are hardly comparable. Back-on-Tape is made in Vienna, on a big stage ( I guess the Florian Wieder stage for "Starmania 21" 250 m2 600 headlights, 21 cameras), but in terms of dimensions it is not comparable to Rotterdam. The light and stage concept is to be taken over by Rotterdam, but will be adapted to the smaller stage.
