Why should we be excited? Are you? Vincent Bueno musical record is totally unoriginal. He has a talent for choreography which is great but his musical instincts are poor. If the song is boring, he can polish it up as much as he wants, it is still boring. Or put a lipstick on a pig and it is still a pig. impersonating Bruno Mars already sounds really off putting to me. Who is Vincent Bueno? What is his style? What is his personality? for me he is a copy machine. Easily inspired but not inspiring.

and we had some flops with Nathan and Paenda who served cheesy smiles on the Eurovision carpet but did not have a great record before their gig. So I guess there is nothing great to expect here neither. Still, I love Limits, would be in my Top 4 of 2020.

hm the bruno mars comparison was the first thing that came to my mind aswell. it has a similar bassline as parts of uptown funk or sax by Fleur east (but obviously NOT as cool and the melody is not as catchy). it's not really my type of music so i 'm not really good at comparing it ...

the response from the press today was pretty decent overall, but criticism from 2 journalists was that the beginning gets you excited but the song looses you halfway because theres not much (new) happening and that it sounds like a 70s funk rock band and that the beats are not modern enough. somebody else said it's this years luca hänni but i definitely don't hear that (i didnt like lucas song but it was current, this somehow doesnt really feel like it imo)

i hope it is better than the tacky attempt in 2016. In general, I think Austria has more talent than Vincent Bueno. ö3 should not be involved in the selection. What they did do our Eurovision record in 2012 and 2013 is unforgivabl. I am tired of Robert Kratky. if they want to scout for an Eurovision act, ask someone from Fm4 or Ö1. Or bring national finals instead of choosing lukewarm acts behind closed doors

I'm fine withe the internal selection as it is, a NF simply doesn't work in . But I expected way more after 2018 and the 2020 entry also won't meet my expectations for sure. I thought everything became more professional but then they came along with PENDA.... And Vincent Bueno simply isn't a good sign either (without knowing the song). I'd be okay with a funky vibe but it should be decent for 2020 of course.
