i really like this song too. probably not a winner song but it would get a lot of attention at esc. i would give away three wild card tickets to ola egbowon, sara koell and miblu. all three songs have high potential in my opinion. i cant imagine that most of the other nine songs are as strong as these three.

I'd also choose those three songs! But I fear we get Laura as the wild card winner + 9 other dull/ inappropriate songs for the NF....

i trust that eberhard forcher found some good songs. there are a lot of talented acts in austria.

Does anybody know when the final wildcard contestants or the 9 other contestants will be revealed??

Btw: Everybody outside Austria seems to favour this one for the wild card spot (according to yt, bloggs):

But on fb the've only got a few likes compared to the other entries, so I think they won't even be among the selected songs for the real wild card voting!

well the whole procedure seems strange to me. nobody knows when the voting will start and how it will work. i guess it will start shortly after the holidays either on 7th or 11th of january.
for the nf i hope for virginia ernst. she is a very good singer/songwriter.

I'm dreading whatever comes our way. ORF doesn't seem to have learned from the epic boob that brought about The Makemakes (a band I usually appreciate) last year. This year's procedure doesn't look much better to me.

I'm dreading whatever comes our way. ORF doesn't seem to have learned from the epic boob that brought about The Makemakes (a band I usually appreciate) last year. This year's procedure doesn't look much better to me.

well i think last year orf put really a lot of effort into the nf. maybe too much effort. the wrong thing was to chose artists without songs and put these great artists together with typical esc composers. thus they lost authenticity. if i am not wrong then heart of stone from jsb was published after september 2014. it would have been a perfect entry.
this year will be better, since eberhard forcher really knows a lot about the austrian music scene and they choose songs and not only artists. there are at least three real good songs among the wildcard participants.

Her songs are the definition of average blandness and a guaranteed semi bottom 3 tbh. But I think she'll be in the NF.

but the national final in austria is also to present a variety of austrian pop acts to a broader austrian audience. i think she deserves to be recognized by a broader crowd. at least she writes her songs herself, not comparable with natalia kelly.
and its not nice to estimate results before knowing the song.
