May sound strange, but chorus is a big letdown to me about "Not the Same". Like he was running out of ideas. It can win, but I ignore if it can go far.

but it needs more staging, and I expected more staging from him tbh. Where on earth was that butterfly moment I heard about

He was good but he was shaky here and there, the Jury might punish that. Compared to Ochman who nailed every single note despite being sick.

OK, Sheldon sounds better tonight. But the mask is really so distracting. We need to connect with him for such an emotional song. Though he did took off the mask at the end, I feel it's too late. It left me cold instead.

I can see he and Seann stealing each other's votes.

But that`s it. Maybe the best voice in the whole ESC season but the song is so flat and bland (sonically).

Sheldon somehow confirmed it himself in his postcard: This song wasn´t a song... just a message.

and it shows... the whole act basically consists of some theatrical gestures and some long and very repetitve notes.

If this song hadn´t been performed by Sheldon, it wouldn´t have ended up being the favourite.

Not gonna lie, the bridge to the finish was full of emotions and I feel the mask gimmick made sense now. However, it might be only me that the beginning of the song was so simple, it's hard to catch attention. Also, I don't know about all the other belts at the two other choruses -- it feels excessive.

Oh dear. I take it that the mask will go back on again for Eurovision so he can take it off once more? He kind of used up his trump card there at the NF.

Sheldon was the best so far certainly in terms of staging. Whole thing was nicely done. I just don't like the song though or connect to the entry. Not feeling it.

Sheldon's prop makes no sense though? i mean yeah it doesn't bother me that it's there, but it doesn't elevate anything imo. Looks like those fans on planes, etc.
