It's so weird seeing commercials during ESC events... gives me 90's flashbacks when ERR still showed them :ROFLMAO:

Even if I would like to see her again, it is almost that I don't want to see her again. I mean, she can't even do better than she did almost. I live with the memory when I were in Stockholm and saw her live in the semi rehearsal, smacked that strong voice in the back wall and it felt like the whole globe would start to roll away. xfaint

I love that they’re keeping the tradition of showing some of the shortlisted participants! Most of them were pretty bad though except for that rock band, Voyager. Glad to hear that the band is interested to try out again for 2021.

Why is it boring according to you?
Hard to gauge that really. Gist of it is that I feel it doesn't really go places musically and it's just not memorable. I don't remember anything except the concept itself, ie a dude doing some classy ballad on a piano. And I think there was one particularly nice note somewhere in the second verse.

You certainly make a good point and I'm definitely up for accepting the underlying principle, which is that quiet quality songs have found a place at Eurovision. That said, I don't feel like the songs are even close as far as quality is concerned and there's also the point that the staging for Salvador was downright captivating and Raw Stuff didn't have that effect on me.

I don't think it would be as successful as Salvador, but Raw Stuff certainly stands out in this selection for a lot of people - because once you have all these glossy well produced sometimes badly sung or staged songs... Didirri's simplicity almost becomes a gimmick of a kind. The competition at Eurovision is fiercer, but I think Raw Stuff could make a comfortable top 10 because of this unusual advantage.
