I love the ethno and the fact it's Armenian, it's exactly a type of entry we don't see often enough anymore I don't think. It's fun and bouncy and I think something that will motivate the televote to vote. I enjoy it a lot, that said I find the La La Lai Lai a bit repetitive, and I dare say will quickly become annoying. I'll give it a :8: for now nice choice Armenia.

On paper, i should be loving this but it feels thin with its execution. The beginning was so captivating and then it fails to live up to its potential. I'm hoping it'll grow on me. :6:

I was between 6 and 7 and ultimately gave it :6:

I think it's too repetitive for a 2:20 song, but it's very cheerful and the singer is also very cheerful and sells the song.

It's a perfect opening song for Disney's Jako, a film where the titular character Jako searches for true meaning of being herself, all around Armenia, after a disheartening conflict with her family which lowers her self-esteem.

It's a very cheerful modern folk song. Very simple structurally, but quite complicated arrangement-wise.

I like it, and I literally sing lalalai lalalai lai whenever necessary. :10:

Tumblr, mostly.
Upgrading to a :10:.

Pure unbrindled ethnic fun. That always works for me.

I´m giving :am: a :4: this year. It´s an interesting musical splash of colour in this years lineup but just much too repetitive for me. The melody is interesting at first but then it´s starting all over again the whole time, like you´re in a time loop. Generally it feels like the whole song consists of just ten words which are repeated again and again. I´m also not a big fan of her voice, it´s interesting I admit that but I can´t listen to it all that long, fortunately the song isn´t that long anyway. o_O

I can see them qualifying for the final but there it won´t get higher than 15th at most cause I can´t see juries voting for it and also in the televote it won´t get much outside of the diaspora. xthink

Wow, and that goes straight into my top 5!

This is a truly eastern party banger of a kind that it seems should be common in the ESC - but for some reason, there's never really been one. In fact the closest might be Armenia's own "Jan Jan", which was slower and more moody, and some ex-YU entries that sounded much more western, without that "oriental" edge to it.

There's a lot happening here. I'm absolutely sure we'll get an outstanding performance here. There's just no way to flop with an entry like this. Exactly how good is hard to say, but i'll be hoping for top 5.

I don't get why many think it's monotonous, there's a couple of different sections - i love how the flute solo sounds kinda like something from a Super Nintendo JRPG - and along with seeing a few Lada Nivas in my neighborhood in the 90s, it's all nostalgia for me.

"Jako", of course, brings to mind this:

Though it could also be this:

So overall, a total banger, and welcome back to greatness, Armenia.

Not even close
Sorry for being serious, but... I've checked.

Intro: 2
Lei lei lei lei la
Lei lei lei lei la
Ah ha ha

Each Chorus: 15
La la lai, la la lai lai,
la la la la la la la la la la la

1st chorus: 4 bar = 4 × 15 = 60
2nd chorus: 4 bar = 4 × 15 = 60
3rd chorus: 4 bar = 4 × 15 = 60
4th chorus after bridge = 2 bar = 2 × 15 = 30
5th chorus (outro) = 2 bar = 2 × 15 = 30

Bridge: 4
Lei lei lei lei la (lei lei lei lei la)
Lei lei lei lei la (lei lei lei lei la)
Ah ha ha
Ah ha ha
Ah ha ha
Haya haya!

So, in total:
2 + 60 + 60 + 60 + 30 + 30 + 4 = 246 la

'Jako' has more la's than Massiel's 'La La La' (126 la) and the current record holder, Betty Missiego's 'Su Cancion' (152 la).

To annoying and repetitive for me. Ethnic doesn’t always mean good. :4: points from me.

This should be one of my favourites in theory, but it lacks something and is a bit repetitive. Still, the music is great, so I'll give a :7:.

Has there ever in Eurovision history been an edition where two participating countries were in war with each other? The scenario doesn't seem too unlikely this year. In 2014 it was almost the case, I believe.
