Athena will serve on stage and the song got fresh vibes Eurovision desperately needs.
Hoping for a high class luxury stage show, Athena seems like a very focused artist so I trust her in this aspect. That mid Armenian studio didn't do it any justice.

The studio version of Chains on You was heads and shoulders above the pack yet somehow I’m surprised the live performance was so strong too. I can really see this doing well and putting Armenia back on track again, but only after they give it that ethnic revamp and a stronger hook.

The rhythm, perhaps I am wrong, I find it a fusion between the style of making American music with a Middle Eastern contamination. Overall, the song is catchy and pleasant. However, nothing more than a disco song. Athena has a beautiful voice.

The song Armenia picked tonight I wouldn't regret as much spending my time with as the other picks that have just happened, but I'm unsure really how much I care about it. The "chains on you" hook is good and there's some nice staging potential for Eurovision. This kind of music though has the tendency to be a bit flat. It really requires a charismatic peformer to carry it off, otherwise we step into monotonous territory. Athena is sexy but it's kind of hard to tell if she's that girl from the potato video I've just watched. For sure I'll give this one more goes. A potential grower.

The huge con is the instrumental of the song. It's too linear. It's the same beat with drums added in some parts. It needs a revamp to stand out better.
It has a lot of potential though. And it is in my top 5 so far.

I agree with @anaraqueen. The potential is there but it's literally the same thing for three minutes. More flavours please.

I guess though this would be easier for me to enjoy properly if it was a vibe I felt more. I think it's ok but I don't like it enough to let it get fully away with doing the same thing for 3 minutes flat. If you dig this kind of stuff it's probably dreamy. I'll add it to my Eurovision playlist though.

Czechia also looked great live, so could grow to another 12.Then again I already know Iceland, Estonia, Finland, Portugal and probably Sweden won't give me anything I like so this night was very much appreciated.
Well the only live I can find has the audio quality like I am listening through a wall but let's go with it. I generally agree with Ana and Rainy, there is a massive potential in this song. Shes hot and a great performer, the problem is the song is literally the same for 3 minutes. Which means I'm over it after a certain point. The quality is there and there is big potential but it needs a revamp to just give it a lift, the genre or not being linear for 3 whole minutes is dull af when it comes to esc. 7 points now, but I think I might be raising it at some point.

I'm upgrading to 6 already I think as 5 feels too close to Norway and Lithuania which I don't like at all and gave 4 points to. I really like the "chains on chains on you" hook. It's catchy. This reminds me of the first time I heard Bodak Yellow. I was like "this is number 1? ... so repetitive........ *goes back to listen again*" 
Well I think I like more than before now it's in better quality but my opinion and score will stay the same. It needs work, but there is potential.
