Although she had technical issues, but her attitude is in need of a serious check.
I find it very unprofessional to walk out (no pun intended) at the end of the performance and just come back to say an "unwilling" Thank You to the audience.
She could have just explained to the crowd she is having technical issues and then say her thank yous. And then do all the "unpleasant" complaints after that.
It was so awkward for both the crowd and Katerine who came after her and had to get the concert mood going.

crashworld well she doesn't speak English very well, does she? So it was probably very difficult for her to communicate her problems with anyone at that moment. I really wouldn't judge her attitude too much - she was probably nervous, disappointed and frustrated and had no time/means to deal with the technical difficulties. She didn't cuss at anybody or storm out, she just behaved like anybody would.

I just hope she will be able to hit those final notes well in Tel Aviv, so far they haven't been all that good honestly, quite weak and/or screechy (not even counting this performance).

She kept going to her best ability and I appreciate that. But the ending was too abrupt and she just walked out showing her unhappiness to feedback on the technical problems she faced. She is not the only one with technical problems, I think some artists before hand did mainly with the in-ear piece (I believed Kobi and Oto had) but just continue to do what they can. She may not be able to communicate well in English but the way she behaved just didn't look very well on her part.

I like this performance less than the studio version. Her English is just gibberish. Armenia's qualification is at risk again, since there are already guaranteed zero points in the semi from a specific friend and neighbour.

She doesn't speak English.

You try being in flustered in front of a crowd of people in a foreign country and not be able to explain yourself.

I see it as an issue of crisis management rather than rudeness.
A professional singer would keep calm until the end and not show the anger or annoyance caused by the situation.
Surie showed everyone last year how to act like a professional person in crisis moments, even if it means putting her life at stake.
As much as I really like Renaida from MF 2018, she also came across as a bit rude when her earpiece didnt work in the final.

Yes, that's what I am talking about. It doesn't matter if she doesn't speak English or Spanish, that's not an excuse.
Nerves could have played a part but then she needs to learn how to keep calm and show professionalism during situations like this (which should be pretty common for artists doing 'live' shows).
The crowd were looking very puzzled and awkward at the same time because of how she reacted. It left quite a bitter taste for me actually despite I empathize with her situation.

I remember Queen Iveta back in 2016 when she had technical issues during the dress rehearsal I believe, but nailed it like the professional she is xcheer

Imagine judging someone because they act like a human being instead of acting like a machine.

It is good people are pointing out it was not a professional way to handle this because it sure was not and how else are we supposed to learn from mistakes. Her attitude to me was also a bit... Over the top, she acted way too insecure and a bit rude. Like it's not may yet, brush it off and continue gurl. I'm not taking this too serious though, clearly she has a lot of weight on her shoulders and wants to perfect her act and this along with the nerves she already has and the language barrier... Just hope she also doesn't forget to have some fun !

This is gonna sound weird for some of you guys... But Srbuk actually kinda won me over in Madrid. I don't really like Walking Out, it sits at my 30-ish place, but I liked her live performance and I think she handled the singing well given the circumstances.

As for her behaviour - how many of you guys have actually been in a similar situation? Imagine having to nail every single note while not being able to hear yourself, in front of thousands of people. I don't think you can really train for that. Anyone who doesn't burst in tears and carries on is a fu*king hero to me. Iveta Mukuchyan might have handled a similar situation more profesionally, kudos for her, but Srbuk's acting was perfectly natural and I don't want to hold that against her. People have the right to get confused in such situations.

Also Srbuk is no Madonna or Paul McCartney. She is still a relatively inexperienced youngster with right to mess up. I really don't see this as a big deal.

I don't understand why everyone focuses on her reaction. It's normal. I'm sure she will handle the situation better the next time it happens to her, that's it.

I'd rather focus on the organisation. I mean, they are the ones that next time will have to make sure everything's ok with the sound, as clearly she was not the only one who had problems. I'm sure they will also learn from this.

Review:

Another weak song sung by a good voice. The only good part is the last 30 seconds. 3 points.

You guys are splitting hairs...

It's a totally normal reaction when you have that much weight on your shoulders. Maybe she could have handled herself better, but in the grand scheme of things, this is completely inconsequential and you guys are giving this waaaaaay more attention than it deserves.

Agree, unfortunately, it's typical of Eurovision fans to put the participants under microscopes and scrutinize their every action. Srbuk is barely 25 with a short professional career. She was clearly flustered and wanted to put her best face forward because she probably knows the fandom is going to analyze and comment on her every move (like some of the people on this forum). Not everyone reacts to things in the same way, so let's get off her case.

Besides, there are more established artists who have piss-poor attitudes, so this is totally irrelevant and I already regret spending two minutes to put this message together and inadvertently give this bunk more unnecessary attention that it does not deserve.

It is nice to see friendly national representatives in the international events. Iveta irritated me so badly back in the day with her strong political provocations and intense reactions.

I hope she improves herself in a month and does a great job performing her song. It is definitely not a bad song, it just needs some work on it to make it more attractive. Performing first definitely doesn't help either.
