The games look good... I just dont think I can ever get into it again with like 500 Pokemon.
I dont know why they couldnt just have new adventures with the same 101 original Pokemon.

I only loved this era. I used to collect albums with stickers and stuff. My fave pokemon had got to be:

I've always watched anime!

When I was younger I used to love Pokemon, Dragonball Z, Sailor Moon and Trigun.

As an 'adult' (a very immature one at that!), my favourite anime have included things like Fullmetal Alchemist, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Hellsing and Paranoia Agent. Anime is so diverse that there is something for everybody, of all ages!

I've been known to cosplay at the London Expos too.

Jynx are cool. Not my favorite Pokemon, but one of funniest that's for sure.

I heard about Fullmetal Alchemist, but never watched it. I'll wait until ''Bleach'' ends. So many TV shows I don't have time for them all.
I'd love to try cosplay just once 'cause it seems plenty of fun. But there are almost no conventions at all in Croatia and besides I don't really know how to make costumes lol so... damn.

Jynx was mistakenly believed, by Western media companies, to have been a racist depiction of black people, when in actual fact she was meant to be a parody of Japanese 'Ganguro girls.'

Rather than go through the (difficult) effort of trying to describe what one of these is, I'll just post a picture:

That's not to say that Japanese anime/manga artists haven't drawn borderline racist depictions of black people before. Mr. Popo for example:

I don't think there is any malign intent behind it, I just don't think they realise how it might be offensive to black people. :|

Oh and Freak for Life, I'm glad you have a positive attitude towards cosplay. Usually I have to keep it a secret as people are like "why on earth would you want to do that?" It is good fun. Just like fancy dress, but with game or anime characters instead.

Thankfully it's gaining a bit more respectability in Europe, esepcially with Eurocosplay (cosplay's version of ESC) coming to London in October:

I've heard about cosplay events in Hungary, namely Sakura-Con, but I've not heard about any in Croatia either.

I started to watch a new anime, '' Gosick '' It still ongoing, it has 24 episodes totally and 3 episodes have been released so far, next episode will be released on 28 january

Synopsis

The year is 1924, the place, Sauville, a small European country neatly tucked beside the Alps...

Kazuya Kujo has been studying abroad at the prestigious Saint Marguerite Academy, where urban legends and horror stories are all the rage. Most Kazuya ignores but the story of the Queen Berry, a mysterious ghost ship, really gets to him. Of course, his brainy friend Victorique is much more intrigued by true stories, and she uses her unrivaled logic to solve mysteries even the town's famous detective can't. Ironically, it is Victorique's inquisitive nature that leads the duo to board a ship that matches the Queen Berry's description to a tee, a ship that might just hold the key to solving a sinister mystery...

I'm in love with Victorique de Blois I like to watch such animes that are set in old times, especially beginning of the 20th century

WATCHED (FINISHED):

Slayers - 90's Anime parodying fantasy Anime/Video Games. Very good watch, through first 3 seasons, gets kinda lame afterward. It's mostly humorous (it's a parody so duh), but has some serious plot elements as well.

Durarara - Action Anime set in modern day Japan. It's an amazing watch. Brilliant characters, great plot and really nice mix of everyday situations and fantasy.

Ouran Hight School Host Club - Now here's something really odd and interesting. Whole thing seems like it's made specifically for crazy Anime fangirls. I wasn't sure what to make of it, but I saw it through the end for the lulz. Opening will make it very clear just what it is.

CURRENTLY WATCHING:

Pandora Hearts - Mystery/Fantasy Anime set in Victorian era. It's epic. That's all there is to it. Love Anime? WATCH IT!

Onmyō Taisenki - *fanboy scream* If you like Pokemon and Digimon than this is something you should add to your watch list. It has interesting plot and at first it may seem like total copy of Digimon, but it gets its own elements after few episodes.

Claymore - Fantasy Anime, without any sign of humor in it. If you like serious and hard watch than I would recommend it. It has amazing animation, probably best Anime one regarding that aspect. A lot of sword fights and blood so be warned. Hawt girls too =P

WATCHED (STOPPED):

Nana - The only reason I started watching it is because my all time favorite song is its ending theme (Olivia - A Little Pain). It's not for everyone I guess. It's like TV drama made into Anime. Completely real-life, interesting watch none the less.

Now I have too much to study, so I don't watch Anime much. I prefer to concentrate on my life instead.

I should probably check it out once I have time. If you like that kind of Anime I would recommend you ''Pandora Hearts'' since it's set in similar era. =)

I had watched several episodes of pandora hearts, but then forgot it ^^ savage genius composed its ending theme songs it's nice that you reminded it me, I'll start to watch it again

I've also watched Slayers and OHSHC slayers is one of my fave animes from 90s

I'm watching puella magi madoka magica, yumekui merry, kore wa zombi desu ka and fractale, including gosick currently.

I`m a big anime fan
I started with DragonBallZ and Detective Conan (in that years RTL ІІ broadcasted animes in the afternoonand I watched them in german )
The law of Ueki is awesome too
After that I didn`t have time to watch anime, but some years ago when my uni started and I have to move in another town I watched NaNa
and it`s the best anime for me now
Can`t wait to see the second season when Ai will be healthy to finish the story...yuppie!
The anime is better then the movie imo though
