If you read carefully what I've written in the past messages you'll notice that I respected your opinion saying that we are a community with different backgrounds and tastes.I respect different opinions. You obviously don’t. Merry Christmas!
I think it depends on how you define the word. I do think the song has many changes throughout, as you mention. On the other hand, there is also a lack of melodic highlights, and that could give many people a feeling of monotony.monotonous
I don't think so... Last year with Besa Kokhedima whose song was far from special, there wasn't this hype at all. In fact, she did not win FiK, unlike Shkodra Elektronike.I could be wrong, but doesn't Albania always get quite a lot of positive reactions from Eurovision fans - more than the results in the later stages justify? I used to think that it was because of the typical ethnic Balkan sounds, but perhaps it also has a lot to do with the Albanians being among the first ones to put something out. The Eurovision fans have been desperately waiting for something, and their initial joy is reflected in (too) high points.
I agree with everything you wrote but just one fact. Melodic Highlights does mean also singing with a baritone voice as the male counterpart does. That part is a very important change of the register and in "per se" is a highlight because we're going from a mezzo-soprano voice (she) to a baritone voice (he)I think it depends on how you define the word.
