I still find it so funny that FiK introduces a televote to pick their Eurovision entry after years of fan favourites not winning the jury vote, only for the Albanians to pick the same type of entry the FiK juries usually go for.

Unfortunately, this might be my least favourite Albanian power ballad they've sent.

Unfortunately this is a fader for me, and it wasn’t that high up to begin with. I don’t know what it is, I don’t actually mind it when it comes on, but the desire to listen to it actively is bordering zero. However, my winner of FiK, Fifi, shares that fate, so I guess there was no saving grace for my Albania opinions this year anyway.

However, while the song is growing off me, I can’t help but find the family cuter and cuter every single day and I wish them all the best and a great shared experience at Eurovision!

Eurovision wouldn’t be complete without a dramatic Balkan ballad and they even gave us a cheesy music video to go along with it. This song is this year’s ethnic-sounding filler and it’s exactly the kind of Balkan song you hear once a year while watching Eurovision but not at all during the rest of the year because most people just aren’t interested in listening to this kind of music. I shall be no exception. 3 points.

I'm humming "Duje" today although I have the song as a certain NQ and see no reason to change my rating of 2.

It's so cute to see the entire (?) family performing on just a little bit more ESC. I always adore families making music together knowing my family and me are only able to create chaos when we not eat and drink together

The first 30 seconds of the song are great: the voice, the orchestral elements, and all that. However, immediately after that the song falls flat for me. While the instrumentation stays beautiful throughout the song, and the dynamic between the lead and backing vocals is neat, the actual melodies and the structure of the song lefts something to be desired. It's an okay song, but that's pretty much it.

Final score: :6: points

Loving the drama of the rehearsal performance. Really hoping this gets through to the final now.

I liked the last couple of :al: entries (especially 2021), but sadly this one doesn't work for me. It sounds very messy overall, I only like the vocals.

surely EBU won't stick them in #2 AGAIN? (provided a first half draw)

congrats Albania!

Well, i wasn't expecting this to qualify, but i know some others were! So-so about it, there are others i would rather have seen qualify, and am i the only one who thought the other ones hardly sang anything in this version? It seems in the previous versions, each member has at least a small solo part, now it seemed to be Albina almost all the time, which removes the point of the song IMO.
