I can´t believe they didn´t let Anduel qualify.
His entry "Malli" was miles ahead of all songs tonight.

HOW DID GENT QUALIFY!?!?!?!?! He didn´t hit any notes, jesus.

When Gent was announced as the last qualifier I immediately envisioned your despair. That was a masterful troll move by Albania there. I actually thought his song was kind of sweet but he struggled with it big time until about the last 30 seconds.

Anduel not making it was surprising. He had one of the best audience reactions from the first night.

I had to catch up tonight. My faves from yesterday:

1. Fifi - Stop. Maybe me not knowing her beforehand and thus not having any expectations could be a factor, I really dig her song.
2. Rovena Dilo


3. Albina & Kelmendi - the vibe is nice, but I don't find the song as brilliant as the community reaction implies. I'd take Nova Deca / Ljubav Je over Duje any day. Perhaps it could grow on me.

1. Elsa Lila - my overall n°1. I am not yet sure how much I dig the song, but the performance is just in a league of her own in this lineup.
2. Manjola Nallbani - has the advantage of this selection being so packed with ballads that even a ballad lover like me is desperate for a decent uptempo

5. Gjergj (he was so much better last year though)

RIP Arsi Bako, there was something unique and musically playful about her song, qualifying Gent instead is a choice.

Overall, Albanian gents better step up their game next year. It's no wonder sends a lady after another - Alban is the only really competitive guy we've had since Eugent's masterpiece.

Actually there is only one logical winner and that is Duje. Also the reaction of the public was pretty clear.

Not sure if sending a ballad would be the right choice..........but if we are picking ballads, that's the one I would go for.
