I've been watching some of the videos from the two semifinals and it really seems like they went for the most banal and dull songs this year.
Though I think this is probably the most promising song that could potentially sound really good after a facelift:

Hadn't seen anything of FiK, but the phrase "Screaming dreadlock lady" got me headed straight to youtube. She's quite good actually.

Not sure what to make of it. Parts of it are good but It's a pretty bog-standard ballad from first listening.
