The voting in this poll says I'm not entirely wrong.

Not everybody is going to understand what you understand.

I think almost everyone understands it, tastes differ so the ratings too, that's all ;)

This is a studio version I can get on board with. Shame they had to cut the musical interlude, but I'm loving this. 10 points!

I certainly know what you mean. It's a very heavy song and hard to listen to for alot of people. I think people connect with Rona if they have had dark moments in their lives. Some of us (well I know I personally) have always wanted to just cry as loud as I can and let it all out but we often don't. Rona does it for us. I can't explain how the whole song makes me feel. It's the ultimate release of emotions.

Damn right, it's amazing for having a major emotional break out when you're confused and lost in the dark moment of life. Heavy, hard to listen to but gosh, i have to say that again: genius!
If i ever have a moment like that, i will just turn it up full volume while breaking plates and banging my head on the wall having a bloody vengeance on my neighbors above who drill the floors and walls about 3-4 hours a day

I enjoyed this song a lot more when I looked at the english lyrics.

The lyrics matter so much in this song, I'm not sure if keeping it in Albanian is the best choice. They could have gotten away with keeping it in albanian the previous three years but I'd be afraid people will tune into this on the night and just see a woman oversinging the chorus. The feeling of the song will be totally lost on them.

Whilst a selfish side of me wants to hear an english version just for my own personal benefit so I can sing along to it myself whilst I play it on piano.. this is the one song that needs to stay in it's native language especially. Being in english isnt going to make those that dislike it suddenly like it. And the message from the song is soo clear.. The melancholy tones, the epic cries.. When I eventually did read a translation I was like yup that makes alot of sense, because I already felt those feelings from the song. Her voice hands you what the song is about on a plate.

I do like the official video, it's unusual.

At the moment I think I have Albania ranked at 22 out of 40. So it's not like I dislike it or anything.

Nooo you're so wrong. I haven't even seen english lyrics, but from the first seconds i understood that this song is a Soul Crying, i don't need to read the translation.
That's what a real song should be like, that's how a real singer should sound like, making you understand everything without words.

Exactly! That's the power of music! I'd just wish more would see music this way... xshrug

Wow haha my neighbors have been drilling and banging non stop for over two years now. I get soo angry but just sit there holding it all inside of me. Next time it starts im gonna open my windows and blast Rona out of my stereo full volume and then some.. and throw some plates as well:lol: ........ into their garden:twisted:

I'll do the same (some I'm a joker and Euro-Neuro will follow Rona) :D Too bad i didn't do that on their "dark drilling breaking record" day: 2 drills from 8 am to 8 pm NON-FREAKEN-STOP

Oh, what Albania needed was a totally new song. This new version goes absolutely nowhere just like the previous one ;)

I'm starting to appreciate this song more and more.

About what's in the video: I interpret what I see as this:

I see that she's standing still, with her legs stuck in a black block. She's not free.

I see two kids (a boy and a girl) drawing a line (towards each other?), but they're not together. Drawing with chalk on an empty grey wall reminds me of a prison. Solitary imprisonment.

There's a small house and a tealight on an electric cooker: this must refer to the home of her and her lost love. Is it on fire? Or is it artificially being kept warm? The fact that the cooker is not turned on with only a tealight next to it could mean that the house is no longer really warm.

Then there's the weird mask and the two white balls ticking constantly. Is this not like waiting endlessly, while getting crazy (the mask) in the meantime?

Quite a heart-wrenching song, once the English lyrics are known.

It's ok, they didn't really make the improvements I thought they would make. I guess it has its chances in the first semi but I wont really be surprised if it ends up being a non-qualifier.

I like it. It is not a typical international ballad but a deeper one. I like it for the same reasons i like the spanish one: it expresses human emotions. Sometimes we forget there are more emotions than love. Not all the emotions are positives, other are negatives like pain, sorrow and fear to loneliness. And as a passionate person i would scream if i felt like this. Im likeing this song more each day. Good luck and i hope Rona gets to the final.

Yes, exactly. That's also why I think it's so courageous of Albania to send this song to Eurovision.
These songs with these emotions, feelings and moods deserve a place too.

Very emotional and very strong. This was constantly last until the horrors of the songs from Lithuania and Estonia came out. I'm rooting for this one.

I like this song a lot, I've always liked it. This is soo sad :( Especially it was with the raindrops in the background in Albanian National Final.
Albania have sent only great songs in last years. I wish Albania the best! Hopefully one envelope will be for you! ;)
