BACK IN PZYERÜYÖLKEÄ
Jungle to 229th Nation Song Contest

Nýtdainsk, Sletterimaa — The 23rd edition of the Griffiniskaja Laul music festival, ended with a bang last night. Held in the heart of the principality of Sletterimaa, this year's event marked the fourth time the principality has hosted the show and the third time it has taken place in the capital city, Nýtdainsk.

The festival, known for its dazzling performances and high-stakes competition, saw the band Jungle emerge victorious with their song Back On 74. Representing the principality of Pzyerüyölkeä, Jungle captivated both the international juries and the televoting audience, securing their spot as the representative for Griffin at the upcoming 229th Nation Song Contest.

Second place was awarded to sangiovanni from the principality of Meremaa, while Benson Boone from Õklingsmaa took third place. The results were determined through a combination of votes from international juries and the public. This edition’s juries hailed from Effiland, Ugaly, Rumia, Svobodnia, Meridia, Doire, and Tamausia & Deltannor.

NÝTarrenaa in Nýtdainsk was the epicenter of the event, hosting Griffiniskaja Laul for a record-breaking third time. Actress Hunter Schafer, returning as the host for the second time, made history as the third person to host the contest twice.

WESTERSUND ON TOP
Nation Song Contest welcomes Picasso

Göldtsit, Pzyerüyölkeä — The 24th edition of Griffiniskaja Laul concluded last night in the capital city of Pzyerüyölkeä, Göldtsit. This marked the third time the principality hosted the event, following their victory in the previous edition.

Westersund clinched the title for a record-breaking sixth time with their entry "Picasso," performed by Bradley Simpson, garnering 125 points. This triumph ties Westersund with Meremaa for the most victories in the competition's history. The principality of Foreõsvdetrre secured the runner-up position, marking their eighth time achieving this rank, a new record. Host principality Pzyerüyölkeä rounded out the top three, breaking the record for the most third-place finishes with their seventh.

The 24th edition of Griffiniskaja Laul took place at the Göldtarrenaa in Göldtsit, a venue with a seating capacity of 16,000. This event marked the first time Göldtarrenaa hosted the contest, with Göldtsit serving as the host city for the second time. Previously, the 8th edition was held at the larger Stadijümi Göldtsitiskaja, which seats 33,150. The principality of Pzyerüyölkeä has now hosted the event three times, with Rakozsit being the only other city in the principality to have previously hosted.

Actor Corey Mylchreest hosted the show, which featured opening and interval acts by special guests performing current chart-toppers and hits from past Griffin participations in WLSC, NSC, and GL.
