It is similar to Carpatina, but I feel Carpentaria is different enough to work. :$ Kind of what happened with Canedonia vs. Kaledonii back when I first joined ISC (I really pick these names well, don't I )

Noo it's just that Kaledonii is such a great name already. In fact one of my favorite in both NSC and ISC. ^^

On another note, I've PM'd a Dutch member on the other forum for help with the adjectival form of the country's name (the equivalent of Carpentarian); if you can come up with it I'd be really grateful as I can't get the full name of the country's broadcaster without it.

Gulf of Carpentaria = Golf van Carpentaria
Carpentarian = Carpentarische (≈ The Carpentarian Gulf = De Carpentarische Golf)

I don't know if you needed this, but I hope it helped! There are too few Belgian/Dutch people in NSC
