Congrats ::grf, that's a great winner! :D

I want to thank the few who liked my entry in the semis:
:12: ::hal ::ugl
:10: ::bif ::ech ::fer ::zom
:8: ::tan
:7: ::sla
:5: ::yap
:4: ::moi ::pen
:1: ::red

So many high pointers xheart

Great hosting Dan, very enjoyable! :D

I was actually going to sit out on 221, but the day after the 220 confirmation deadline, I discovered the release of the perfect entry for me. That changed everything, but I now see that I should be able to vote in the semis after I get home from the late summer vacation I'm currently on, so even if the entry is snatched by someone else, I should be able to take part in 221 anyway. :)

Wow, I barely qualified and finished near last in reju.

Thank you! I had absolutely no idea what to expect from this entry. I had nothing to compare it to, so I'm pleased to see it appealed to my usual voters, as well as a few others. I'm very happy with 5th place.
:12: ::ous ::zom
:10: ::grf ::kor ::red ::tro
:8: ::aim ::che ::ins ::taa ::ugl ::vyl
:7: ::sak
:6: ::aka ::ill
:5: ::bel ::cal
:4: ::kam ::nac WL
:3: ::kon
:2:
:1: ::pen

Congrats ::grf Nice winner! Super catchy and joyful!

Akatsuki was my personal winner of this edition, which surprised me greatly, as I rank hip hop near the bottom of my list of favorite genres. But "Hope" blew me away - music just as strong as lyrics, and the way it builds up to this intense finale, that can only be fully appreciated when listened to from start to end.

Wow, never expected to do so well with a song like this. Winning the semi and 2nd in the GF. Really nice to see a more layered, slower and jazzy song like this up there at the top. Thank you everyone who voted for ::kon, especially for these 7(!) 12's. Pretty insane.

Congrats to Griffin Empire for winning and thank you @berlyda for the very solid hosting, well done!

Congratulations ::grf, I'm really happy for you! xrunhug

As for my own result... I'm going to be honest, I wasn't expecting to end up that low...:( But yeah, happens... maybe it's time to send something slightly different, we will see.
Anyway thanks everyone for supporting "End Of The Dream" !

I'm not a fan of Troye Sivan (rather the opposite), but congrats to the Griffin Empire! :cool:
Rather I would have preferred a win for Konthena and another favorite song of mine that I didn't believe in enough to send to any of the contests... Yes, we know our shortcomings. :mrgreen:
Thank you all for the 9th place for xheart NBS, a very decent result for a band of newcomers with the first and only single so far! (y)
The hosting was a success thanks to @berlyda, everything was minimalistic cool! xup

I have made a thread in the private forum with detailed instructions on how to use the recap generator: https://www.escunited.com/forum/threads/recap-generator.27304/

Part of the point of making it was so that other people can use it too, so please go ahead and try it out! The initial setup is a bit complicated, but once you have everything installed and working, it's not too hard to use.

I have only written instructions for Windows users so far, since I figured that's what most people use, but I will add Linux instructions soon too (probably tomorrow). I don't have access to a Mac, so I'm not sure I can provide detailed instructions for that, but I will do my best.

@theditz83 and anyone else who is interested in using this!

I have a feeling it could be 81. He revealed everyone who gave Halito points first. :eek: But I've been wrong before in this contest, so we'll see. :p
That's why my points were announced first

How did you get those points
The waiting list votes are all combined into a single set of votes (the "waiting list jury"). The nation with the highest combined total gets 12 points from the jury, second place gets 10 points, third place gets 8 points, and so on.
