One more thing I want to say is that I also had a period when I felt like all the contests I participated in, even on the other forums, kinda "hated" me, but then... Idk what happened, but I started to achieve some great results once again. I just kept on trying. And I just wish that luck will be on your side again soon

Kinda funny that my REJU-Semi has better results for me than my regular one. I already felt like it would be a meh final while filling my semi 1 DNQs, but then I realized how many pointers of semi 2 qualified, so... maybe it won't be that bad at all considering I liked some PQs

Hey there! I've been there before, matching several NQ's in a row.

My best advice currently is to closely look out for popular patterns in terms of mostly sonical content pervading the contest.
Make the patterns work in your favour, thorough digging through the dirt of YouTube or even other contests it's not hard to find a satisfactory result potential.

Try your best hypothesizing through lens of separate pots' perception and likelihood of voting when choosing your entries, yet aligning the lucrative entry choices with your own authentic taste as top priority. Being transparent and easily detectable as score-whore is not what you want, keep that in mind at all times.
Personally my taste is very diverse, so I've abandoned playing by the character a long time ago as, logically, my involvement and ambition in the contest has been fluctuating on-off.

It's tough, but it's worth the effort. Winning would ne cute, but at least for me nothing like a good old, hard-earned PQ spot.
