The girl in the 2nd vid is a bit 'turbo folkish', as Balkan countries would say. But it doesn't matter.

I hope NTU will come up with smth until deadline.

Anything what Ukraine send is better then no taking part at all.

And I agree with Alister, 3rd best option should go (3rd best, according to audience votes, not NTU opinions).

Novy channel also wants Alyosha. NTU wants Alyosha. People who have been supporting her before support her still.
There's a chance that she will choose uptempo song.

I thought Azerbaijan made the worst selection process this year, but seeing Ukraine preparing for 3rd selection of its entry in 2010, it looks like we didn't made it that bad. I hope they will pick up a good song for Alyosha, Good luck and try to make the things not so complicated

We had 2 NFs when some countries didn't even have 1. I really enjoyed our 2nd NF (I have it on DVD already ) and I don't mind the 3rd song too
more - better. I don't think that having so many music events is a bad thing. For Ukraine and for Azerbaijan
Also I wish it could be done in time but it's a nice reason to work on official papers for the next year's NF to make everything stable and to set official time borders.

There is truth in your words as well Some countries do not have even enough money to pay for its EBU fees and making a good selection, but we are financing several shows

People are being way harsh on Ukraine. Let them do their thing in peace and maybe then something good will come out of it. sh*t happens ...so let's be friendly, ok?

As for Alyosha, she has a strong voice so I thinkkkkk a rock song would suit her most She kinda reminds me of PINK.

This is official. Alyosha will perform the new song.

According to NTU officials, the jury and organizing committee decision & after negotiations with Svante Stockselius NTU asked Alyosha to change the song.
NTU has already received few songs from Alyosha. The song should be sent to EBU until Friday.

Imo, the documents will be sent to EBU until Wednesday-Thursday.

Sorry but this just proves that the new NTU management are doing the EXACT thing that they blamed the previous for; favoring an artist!

People blamed the choice of Vasyl for not being the people's choice, now the people had no say in the song chosen which is even more important.

They could have just given the spot to the closest runner up whose song did not break the rules; it would be all fair and logic and the people would have had a say. Now they are just favoring this cheater and aren't letting people have a say in the song; which is unfair both to the other participants but mostly the people.

This new management is just hypocritical and their favoring of Alyosha is just as bad as the Vasyl selection, if not even worse!

Whoever say this is more legitimate is just trying to make up excuses.

The new management are equally bad and just a bunch of hypocrites. Afterall this was just a show-off to show who was the "new leaders in town", now it is proved it had NOTHING to do with what they officially blamed the past management for. The choice of Alyosha at the moment is just as corrupt.

Problem is that there wasn't enough time to learn every song in details. New management is not bad. They all did right. Alyosha was choosen by most of people. She is the best. (Jury chose another performer besides.) And I believe new song will be much better. I'm very thankful to them for their desicion to change Lazarovich and not to change Alyosha now. I hope next year they will organize new NF with televoting again.
