This year's three Eurovision Song Contest hopefuls from Serbia, Emina Jahovic, Milan Stankovic and Oliver Katic, appeared, together with RTS PR manager Duska Vucinic Lucic, in yesterday's Serbian television show Srbija na vezi to reveal some new details about the national final, to be held on March 13th.

- The songs will not be made public before the national final.
- Each of the contestants will perform their own song twice, enabling the public to really make up their minds before voting.
- The winner will be determined by 100% public voting.
-All three entries are up-tempo songs, in typical Balkan style.
-Goran Bregovic, the composer of all three entries, will also perform with the three candidates.
-Each of these interval acts will sing a song from Bregovic:
Marija Serifovic (Serbia 2007), Jelena Tomasevic (Serbia 2008), Regina (Bosnia and Herzegovina 2009), Severina (Croatia 2006) and Zdravko Colic (Yugoslavia 1973).

sounds like a nice show )))

Finally, no more stupid crazy juries for Serbia.

Good. Last thing we need this year is another ballad for Serbia. Up tempo :!:

Re: ?????? - Serbia 2010

In my opinion, we have an enormous chance of winning in Oslo (Scandinavia has already shown as lucky ground for us...). We will most definitely stand out with the trumpets and an energetic performance, so there's a big possibility that Europe will be coming to Belgrade in 2011.
Anyway, if ESC doesn't go to Belgrade, I hope it will find it's way to Zagreb or Sarajevo!

Good luck to Feminnem, Vukašin and whoever represents us (Emina/Milan/Oliver&Jelena)!!!

Re: ?????? - Serbia 2010

^ Haha, Istanbul was also the 'lucky ground' for us, but Scandinavia..yes - great:D
I agree that we will (most probably) stand out this year, but it's still too early to say anything, I mean...what if we stand out for bad?? We still don't know any of these 3 songs. It could be a bad surprise, but at least we know it's Balkan up tempo:D

For now...all ESC 2010 entries r average or bellow average, only few good songs (I think there r maximum 3 possible winners so far or even less).
Competition and quality is not really high this year, so..yeah..maybe we have good chance..but also..don't forget that Sweden, Greece, Bosnia, Israel r still to choose their songs (and they're traditionally strong ESC nations), Estonia and Azerbaijan can surprise as well;)

As about Zagreb or Sarajevo 2011, don't get me wrong - I like Croatian song, but it's not really winning material. Bosnian song - we still don't know it, but I have high expectations from Vukasin.

You'll see... Feminnem's going high!

We will see when we hear the song, but yes i also believe that it's going to stand out among all those ballads this year

Only Slovakia is a certain qualifier from our semi, so yeah, we have good chances.

According to the readers of "Blic" newspapers, Emina Jahovi? is the biggest favorite of "3 pa 1 za Oslo" with 41% of votes. Second is Milan Stankovi? with 35%, and the last one is Oliver Kati? with 25%.

That are statistics, but Oliver is much better singer than Milan & Emina.
Anyway, my favourite is Emina because she has an expiriance. Also, she is very attractive and think that Bregovic will make best song for her. She has that kind of energy, sensibility....

Re: ?????? - Serbia 2010

I hope that it's not going to be another Zjeliko alike ballad.

I bet that Goran Bregovic can come out with something more creative.

^It was already said it's not going to be a ballad.
For my taste, Zeljko Joksimovic is more creative then Bregovic. Nevermind;)

@Sparkle
Emina looks great in this photo ;)
She's my favorite too, based on her looks only (cause I didn't hear any of the songs).

Today I red in Blic that Emina is having serious preparations for the show, she will have well prepared coreography and will perform with 4 dancers (2 male, 2 female). She's pro, so I guess performance will be good. Probably more attractive then Milan's and Oliver's performance (they don't have dancers, as far as I know), but I think Milan and Oliver both..have better voices then Emina, I think it will be between Emina and Milan.

Re: ?????? - Serbia 2010

Hmmm I've decided I'm actually hoping for Oliver to win! I know
nothing about him which makes it good..emina is attractive and professional but cannot sing..and Milan can sing but is not attractive and is arrogant...so as I cannot decide between the 2 I hope fo Oliver! But either way I know I'll like the song as this style is what i always listen to..so good luck Serbia!

@ Borderline

I love Zeljko ballads, he made great success with "Lane" for Serbia (2nd place) and "Lejla" for Bosnia (3rd place) and finally with "Oro" for Serbia again, I think 6th place, not sure.

But!
It`s time for something different, I agree :D
Bregovic is a fantastic composer, I don`t doubt he will make great song. It will be hit for sure!
