I love Eagle. Its almost Ethnic Bulgarian style Flamenco in English... Like "¿Quién Maneja Mi Barca?" (Spain '83). Its just Misunderstood hahah. The Backing singers need to improve though, thats what ruined last year's Bulgarian song.

I agree with our danish friend. However, if BNT had an open selection like previous years, we might have gone to ESC with something FAR much better - this - http://soundcloud.com/deep-zone/deep-zo ... on-version

ZOMG! It sounds even better  It sounds as if it was re-arranged kinda Cypriot style.. Cyprus lost a big chance. Look what they sent

"Twist and tango" is my fave. "Angel si ti" and "Eagle" are also ok. The others are weak

Overall, i expected much better songs from Miro :(

Easily the best song of 2010 so far? Instead of an act that already failed at ESC? Yeah, terrible choice indeed

Now that's what I call a good post. :D I still can't really make anything of Eagle. I think the person/people behind it was/were going for too many things all at once. I love Spain 1983 but I don't love this one. It's not even "like". I have to agree, though, the backvocalists were TERRIBLE. They didn't sing properly, nor did they look even relatively good in the clothes they were wearing... Still weird that some people don't like Latin music.

Latin music sounds like a terrible version of chalga to me ;) Just kidding (well, all jokes have truth in them), but latin music belongs to latin singers and Miro is not one of them.
And yes, Eagle has a potential, but needs lots of rework. The beat does not fit the singing, although both would be nice in separate songs.
I saw a poll at hotnews.bg today, 56% of the votes were for Ti si angel, the second best song was the rock ballad written by D2 (don't remember it's name, or the song for that matter - most forgetable one of them all... well, together with the latino and the "highly high class inteligent and eternal" one, written by the "genious poetic tandem" Ilf and Petrov.) So don't worry, among the mediocre songs we'll send the most decent one.

Re: ???????? - Bulgaria 2010 - Miro

So the OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO part doesn't bug you at all. Of course, people would like it since it was composed by Miro himself - it sounds the most out of all of them like a Karizma song. ;) Don't even want to say anything baout the D2 one. It's boooooooooooooooring. Sounds like Brink's song to ESC but way weaker and Denmark was my least fave in 2009, LOL!

At the moment, the poll shows:

"Eagle" (36)
"???? ?????? ? ???" (49)
"Twist and Tango" (38)
"??????" (21)
"????? ?? ??" (113)

It's not really many voters so hard to tell if this really is the majority. I haven't talked to many people about this but the three people I have prefer "Twist and Tango", I guess.

PS This is the poll or... I found it on this page: http://www.hotnews.bg/news.php?id=19085#anketa_news_form

That's the one, yes. And no, actually the oooo part suits me well. If the song is going to be in bulgarian (admirations for that, that's the first (if we don't cound voda, where my friend from Serbia thought they were singing in macedonian, lol)), then we need something without a language, that everyone can sing and remember. The ooo part has a nice melody and fulfils that part quite well.

I dislike such refrains. It needs to have some words. I don't see anything memorable about an "ooooo". I did want, no matter what, the song to be in Bulgarian, or at least not in English but now I'm not really sure about that.

I mean like that offbeat and stuff was kinda Flamenco-ish. I'm hoping the beginning "duh duh dum duh duh dum" backing vocal stuff its just temporary replacement for drums. No but Eagle would def make it to the ESC final with the backing vocals a little less horrible haha.

Eagle has to win, if Its tweaked a little I think Bulgaria can make top 5 in the Final.

Re: ???????? - Bulgaria 2010 - Miro

Miro, the 2010 Eurovision Bulgarian representative, is currently looking for backing vocalists and dancers to join him on stage at the country's national final, scheduled for February 28th, and the Eurovision Song Contest next May.
Miro made this announcement at the end of the presentation show last February 7th, when the public had the chance to hear all 5 songs entering the country's national selection.

Auditions will be conducted by the BNT team. Applicants must be 16 years old at least, and no older than 28 in the case of dancers.
