I like the revamp more actually and I'm surprised by how radical the revamp is in this case. But the soul of the eurotrashpop '05 got killed here which I guess was the appeal for the fans. And I can see how some perceive it as a sort of remix.

I love love Melody and Esa Diva was one of my Benidorm favourites so when it won I was happy happy happy.

If you’ve seen my votes in the Ranking Game you would have seen that this was my #1…….

I have been excited for this revamp for a couple of days and now I’ve listened to it a few times.

Spain has fallen so far down my ranking I’m so upset

The revamp has taken so much personality and it feels so cold I’m so upset

The "revamp" has made it sound even more hollow. Less flamenco and more electro.

I already didn't like it but this is even more of a devamp than previously. Sure it sounds more commercial now but I don't think that's a good thing in this case. xshrug

I don't really care either way, it still makes me wish it was half as long and i don't love her voice. But she's a great performer so i'll enjoy it on the night.

There are some changes and I can see why it changed people's opinion on the song but it doesn't change mine a lot to be honest, I still really like it and this revamp doesn't make the song worse or better than what it was before to my taste

I'm a bit unsure, there are some things that I like, like the vibe of the new intro and some of the new audio florishes, but overall it feels like a dj something remix. In any case the focus of the song are Melody's vocals and she continues to serve [tbd] like a pro and considering the lack of really strong female vocalists I think she can get a top5 among judges in the final.

I have listened to the new version for the 2nd time and unfortunately my opinion changed for the worse. It's kinda giving the artificial feel now that puts me off, the electronica could have a better sound to it.

I think the "ideal" version for me would be something along the lines of - the revamp's intro + dance break and the original's chorus and verses. I think there are some things the revamp did better than the original, I can give it that - the intro being one of those things. BUT they made the melody line in the chorus way over the top. I don't know what to think of it. I gave the original a :7: and I think I'll stick with that rating for now.

It is, however, a very performace-heavy entry. I'm not necessarily saying it has the potential of Slo-Mo, but I don't think anyone thought Chanel would finish in 3rd place in 2022 before we saw her first live performace during one of the semi-finals. Esa Diva is kind of similar in that regard. While the song itself is not anything incredible, with the right performance, I can see it do much better in May than most of us expect. With that being said, it obviously is a double-edged sword. If Melody doesn't dance her a** off on the Eurovision stage like the Diva she claims to be, she might as well just finish in bottom 5.

I like it more now, however in first two verses it turns a bit to the flat side. We get it girl, you're real housewives of miami kind of diva.

Imho she also doesn't have that spark. She thinks that since she's pretty, hardworking and can sing very well - it will all work out. But she misses that Channel infusion. Like what she does - you can see the effort. Should look effortless, like Gaja 😂

Well imho it will be hit or miss. And I'd lean toward the latter.

Well both versions suck, so who cares...

This is SO getting last place. Honestly wouldn't be surprised if it gets 0 points from both the jury and the televote.

I honestly believe that if it's getting ANY points from a "professional" jury in a SONG contest, the EBU should ditch them altogether starting from 2026.

Been one of the defenders of this entry from the start, but not totally sold on the revamp. I think the "dated" sound is what gave it character, the new version is just too sparse and simple, less lush and melodically sophisticated. Gonna be fun to see the performance though...
