I hasn't been confirmed, but since 2021 that the singer of the previous year is the spokesperson of Portugal.
Elisa was the spokesperson in 2021, Tatanka(frontman of Black Mamba) 2022, Maro 2023, Mimicat 2024, so in 2025 it will be iolanda.

Nothing to be surprised though.
We have people singing Ich Komme with microphone into the legs. Someone else is singing about Espresso Macchiato or The glory of Sauna. So why wondering about a talking mouse as a spokesman.
Just for some information.
Topo Gigio is a very famous Italian TV figure that has accompanied so many Italian generations.
He is one of the hosts of Zecchino d'oro, the mother of Jesc, an Italian song competition for children.
Lucio Corsi made a duet with him this year and was appreciated by everyone.

Never heard of that, and after briefly watching some clips on YouTube I´m not sad about it.

Topo was also the most frequent guest on Ed Sullivan's show in the States back in the 1960s

Topo Gigio is a childhood star for many 40-60 years old people here in Portugal. It will be a nice moment! :)

Well, I am able to recognize it but my mother will get emotional. She loves Topo Gigio 😂
