The more I think about a matchup between Bulgaria and Sweden, the more realize that Bulgaria looks stronger than Bulletproof. Both songs are captivating but Bulgaria is more delicate and mesmerizing, while Bulletproof is another perfect song from Sweden. I will give Bulletproof 12 points, but behind Bulgaria will be put ahead.

Why do songs have to have big gear changes? Some can and that's fine, but others can have more of a flow to their approach.
To combat tedium and give musical cues for visuals. For a contest that is about grabbing your attention it really helps to have some of that. It isn't strictly necessary, but it's just an opportunity you choose to forego that others are likely to take, so you start off on the back foot.

I gave 12 in the poll..I like dark video and melancholy..
Really good one, but for now based on studio version it is not in my to 10  Year is really good..maybe live it will manage to enter my top 10..we will see.. ;)
I prefer Romania – “Alcohol you” as a composition and color of voice of Roxen is more for me than Victoria's.. :)

I can't decide, whether I like Bulgaria or Romania more. They are both in my top 5, with Latvia, Poland and Israel

Tumblr, mostly.
Yeah my opinion is the opposite of Mauve's. Roxen does nothing to me, and "Alcohol you" is just an upstart, fake-woke pretentious ball of nothing.

"Tears getting sober" otoh is... well, solidly good. Another ballad, but one of them best ones i nthe year, so, yeah I cannot wait until Victoria comes top five while Roxen NQ's :-)

WHERE are the uptempo bangers at tho. Where the fuck are the KEiiNOs????

You can hear parts of the first live performance she gave, at an exclusive event yesterday for fans and media that I attended. At the end of the video you can even see her perform the last refrain:

PS The ending quite reminds me of Amar pelos dois.

Actually, the entire song reminds me of Amar Pelos Dois. I think the target audience is very similar, and so is the dreamy and soothing aspect.
Probably not a winning song, but I suppose this will go under many radars until the final only to strike another top 10 or even better.

This is funny actually - I really love Roxen, but this here gives me nothing. Roxen's impact is more intense and personally I don't feel these songs have much in common.
Totally agree.....I was fearing Bulgaria would edge out Roxen...but this song is just too cute, sugary and underpowered to be a threat to Romania. Also I have heard Roxen perform live in last Sunday's final.....and she gets my vote. I think Romania and Switzerland have the best ballads.....

Exactly the same. In studio version, Alcohol you is really impactful for me, gives mysterious dark vibes, I feel her pain. Maybe live will fall flat though, as I was not very impressed, so I hope for smth better come May.
The similarities are young female performer, ballad. That's it.

This song is seriously flawed with it's lack of gears changing and it's obvious ham-fisted fairytale approach, but the production is just on point and it's a pretty and soothing ballad. I'm a sucker this stuff man, I can't lie. Love it.
Completely agree with this, those 2 things are obvious flaws for me too, but it's so warm-sounding and gorgeous. :10: pts for now

I like Alcohol You a little bit more but we all know that Bulgaria will teach everyone (especially Romania) a staging master class in may.
LOL it is only money in the game my dear, if Romania invest the same as Bulgaria, I don't see why it would be worse.. ;)

What an enchanting little song. It has a kind of magic to it, that lulls you in.
And Victoria's got a nice voice. It's all very lovely. One to watch, me thinks.

Good luck, Bulgaria :)
