She did all she could with what she had though, they should have shut Kontopoulos in instead. He's free and probably ready to prey upon other victims.

xup
And in that way we wouldn't go through his "torture" once again with 2020 Greek entry..

Kontoupoulos only had 1 bad ESC-Entry in his Life.
But anyway, Aisel is a weak and uncharismatic Singer, so her Failure is not only his Fault.

Yes, and it’s not a rumor.)
I prefer Leman, her voice is more interesting for me. But most probably it will be Rauf&Faik. They are very popular in ex-Soviet countries, and I like two of their last performances - Scandali and Kolibelnaya.

Some of them are uploaded with Greek subtitles!! Looks like that some people know them here!
It seems...also a lot of Turkish comments, Russian...
They will probably be the best choice for televoting result for AZE..
Plus last year AZE did very good with juries..so who knows..

Most comment are Turkish but you can understand they have potential for huge televoting from several countries with a good song!

To be honest Rauf and Faik might be the biggest elephant in the room but I'm sensing a bit of a problem should they be selected. They're singing in Russian so I don't really know how will their English fare (you know, Azerbaijan usually selected songs in English) or either if Ictimai ever been daring to present a Russian-languged song.

Plus, since they're mostly singing in a lowkey angsty edgy teen genre (yes) I can't really point what sort of song would fit them outside of their usual fare. The 'out-of-fare' thing has recently been there for Azerbaijan: AISEL (jazz, trip-hop, slow disco) was given a dance track and Chingiz (mostly folk) was given a synthpop. In terms of songs, what would be suitable for Rauf and Faik? I can picture something for Leman, Murad or Samira but this one case was quiet intriguing.

Plus this interview with Leyla on Good Morning Azerbaijan:

We didn't put any restrictions on the songs. What they need to do is send a demo version of their song. You could be a newcomer or a hitmaker, doesn't matter! Send your songs to us!

is actually quite true when you think of it. I mean aside form all the entries they've selected, Ictimai never actually put any restrictions, they simply choose the best that could work. Look at 2017 entry for example, which was arranged by none other than Isa Melikov.

Rauf&Faik released their new song in English:
