Why those snowflakes and that cold background?? :? She once said she wants to create a good feeling with her song but with that winter theme this doesn't work at all...

And the snowflakes disturbed her obviously. Either she has to train not to care about them or they should leave them away. I'd favor the latter option as she doesn't look like in paradise at the end of the song when her whole head is covered with snowflakes....

i think that they will use maybe similar but different visuals at the esc. for sure they will use the treadmill, but she still was unsecure how to use it. the whole thing was not done well, i dont believe that this is the final staging.

she is really sweet and i like her voice and the song. but all of her live performances last year and this year were not really good. hopefully she will surprise us with a brilliant staging in stockholm.

The performance at the London promotional event: x12s

I may not be a musical expert, but nevertheless: the vocals seem near perfect to me. xbow
At the end, after the song is finished, you can see that Zoe is touched and overwhelmed by the reaction of the audience, she almost cries a little.
...and then she adds a little "encore" (chorus a cappella):

On the wiwibloggs channel there is a review video now:
William and Edd are amazed by the song and by Zoe (although they're uncertain about qualification for the final), Deban and Denise are not so pleased (song would be outdated, staging too colourful as seen in the official video and the national final).

The more I hear and see from the Austrian entry, the less I can imagine that this might eventually not go through to the final.

Love the song, LOVE ZOE even more .... I heard her say on some interview that the staging will be different ...... Hope she gets rid of all the shiny cheap fabrics and brings a modern fairytail interpretation walking in a dark forest before she actually finds paradise !!!!!
It's gonna mature the song so well

Just knowing the juries taste and what kind of music they usually go for, this is certainly not it. Zoe also didn't do too well with the juries in the NF and was saved by the televote.

There were 4 people in th jury in the austrian nf, this is hardly a representative sample of the taste f the juries of 17 countries (or 42, because I am more and more convinced that we will see zoe in the final)... As for the past years, I couldn't see a distinctive jury taste at all, which is understandable as the members change every year and come from quit different backgrounds at times,
I rather have the impression people tend to generalize cases when the jury killed one of their personal favorites.

I think that if you don't think that there are no patterns whatsover when it comes to jury voting, then you might want to take a look back in recent history. There certainly are patterns and the same goes for televote, it is okay to state the obvious. I am not claiming that I know what's going to happen but I can definitely use history and previous results to form an opinion and make a prediction. I don't think dismissing my view by saying I'm upset that the jury allegedly killed one of my favorites, is fair. So basing my decision on what I know and observed over the last few years, the Austrian song does not scream Jury favorite to me. And trust me, I'm hope I'm wrong but that's part of the fun when it comes to Eurovision: Use the data you have at hand and predict the outcome.

I have a feeling this will be in the jury top ten but will be destroyed by the televoters (like :at: was in 2011, 2013 and 2015). :at:'s chances in the final were destroyed when the song was selected.

What do you base that on though? Unless you're basing it on the fact that the juries vote for Austria just due to the fact they're Austria. 2011 was a clear jury favorite and I expected that to happen but these two songs have 0 in common.

I'm basing it off the fact that Loin d'ici is the sort of song that juries will go for, it's very pretty, sweet and is also a ballad.
My first point was the fact that :at: doesn't do well with the televoters when it sends songs like these. 2014 was an obvious exception since the hearts of Europe were with Conchita, and 2012 doesn't really matter since it was quite a poor song anyway.
